rotary mixes are wack af... i mean coming from a truntableist background i am somehow a fader enthusiast. i know back then and disco legends blablabla... to me the rotary's are straight up hipster shit. dope set, tho.
In my opinion, one of the good things about rotary mixers is that you dont need a trim/gain knob
I think that they are good only to do really fast mixes with difficult genres like funk ecc ecc. For smooth transitions nothing beats a xone with 4 band eq...
I also prefer my zone 92. classic modern mixer that always does what I want. I also like to play with faders and to have the ability to learn scratching some day. :)
you are correct. Unless you are long mixing, they are ok. But even then, they are terrible
