I'm considering starting my own business as well, it would be something with healthy snacks. Your videos are giving me the confidence I need to keep going. Thank you for that đ It is very scary and confusing, but I'll try to just do one step at a time like you :) Good luck!
hey!! yay, so glad it's helped you a little. you should definitely do it. I keep telling myself if it fails at least I tried and learned something. yes, one step at a time. you got it girl!!
You are killing it girl! Little by little đ«¶đœđ„°
awww thank you so much!! you're seriously the sweetest!
excited Savannah , Congrats
very interesting to see the initial process of your business, sav đ certainly there are lots of things beside to do, as you mention; the contract, the permits and stuff, and many people aren't necessarily aware of those things, it's not like 'wanna start a business' and start it right away haha there so much to do beforehand! but hope all those things that you're currently doing work for you and that you can have a very fulfilling path đ and learn from the whole process and stuff, so yeah! looking forward for the new chapters coming âș have a good one!
totally! there's so much to it. thank you so much!!!
Hey I think this was very useful for many people to know the process of starting a business because itâs an imperative process that many find overwhelming and so never proceed with their idea. Great video and all the very best in this venture of yours.
totally! so much behind the scenes work. it doesn't seem like it would be too much until you actually start doing it haha. thanks!!
@@savtuma really appreciate your channel your honestly my favourite CZcamsr so real and authentic. I pray that you succeed canât wait for the farmers market video!
Luv this
thank youuuu âš
Can you put your list of to-dos in order of the way they need to be done here in the comments?
I agree, your videos are helping people.
yeah!! this would def be helpful!
Just a little insight on the LLC, single LLC, and the Proprietor is so much better if you are going out for a single LLC. When I was going for my single LLC, I found out that they donât allow you to hire people. Where with a sole Proprietor you can actually hire people out. Itâs better in the long run if you plan on hiring people because eventually your business is going to expand. If you doing a LLC with partners, like your parents can be your partners, then it becomes like a sole Proprietor and single LLC combine. Meaning you can hire people like sole proprietor, but you get the insurance that you would get from an LLC, which is why you would want an LLC in the first place. And I believe donât quote me completely but I think itâs like $1 million coverage if you get an LLC insurance wise. which means if you got bankrupt from this, they would cover your bankruptcy up too $1 million. It also helps you get loans Easier. The people that are on your LLC you donât even have to be involved with the process if you donât want them to be, but they do help make you credible to think because thereâs more people to fall on if something were to go wrong. Sorry to overwhelm you.
As far as the labeling, I donât know how much you know. I havenât gone through this video before I started talking to you about this, but the ingredient list go in order from highest to lowest, the higher percentage of an ingredient in your product goes first and so on.
I imagine theyâre a little more strict as far as the inspection goes because youâre in your kitchen instead of in a professional kitchen. Iâve only done a professional kitchen like I made frozen lasagna with my family when we had our business. biggest thing you can do for yourself is not allow the chemicals to be near where you would prep food. Keep your dog outside if you do when the inspection. Specially I feel like that self-explanatory because you donât want the hair. Theyâre pretty chill so maybe it varies from place to place, but they just want to get in there check everything and get out. I donât know if youâre going to keep your personal food away from your business food it is pretty smart I donât know if itâs necessary I donât even know what your product is yet but if itâs in the fridge, make sure that youâre keeping your food organized to their standards. Raw foods go down below veggies go up above. Itâs a big thing about what can actually fall onto your food. You cook raw you do not cook your veggies and stuff most of the time so thatâs why it does that way. Because you can cook off the bacteria. I donât even know if they make you take a safety and sanitation one or if theyâre like me where I had to have a management level.
Farmers markets there, more personal they love it when you have a personal touch so keep that in mind when packaging. Keep your high hopes still strong even if you donât do all people love to support people so it will happen for you as long as you keep your head in the game.
I hope Iâm not overwhelming you itâs a lot to take in. It takes time, so donât think that youâre going to do this all in one day kind of thing just keep it at pace. Day by day. Soak in the wins and brush off the rest, and take the lessons. Youâve got this.
I hope I was helpful and not overwhelming. Just message me or you can DM me on Instagram @michelle_vernacchio and hopefully I can help you. I may have an answer. I may not. But Iâm always here to help.
wow you are seriously so sweet. thank you so much I read it all. definitely some good insight that I've been learning on my end as well. just posted a new video if you wanna check it out (I'm sharing the product finally!!), but will def DM you if I have more questions. THANK YOU!!
If doing partnership than why not to go with LLP ?
@@ibrahims1738 because itâs $800/year which is a lot of money. would love to transition over to LLC eventually though!
