Hey man... 1st time I found your channel. I just wanted to thank you for this video. I don't play heavy games often, but I especially love solo crunchy stuff, and before I look into the rules as written which can introduce some new abstract concepts and rules changes that cook my brain, I always look for a good video online. It was so fortunate that you posted this. I played my 2nd edition last week with a buddy and loved it. I'm sitting down with this today. I feel like I'm going into the "lonely are the brave" rule book feeling very confident now. Thank you.
Great video! Just one detail: when Sam‘s train is moving and he could reach a train station which is behind another, he would leave out the first station to get to the next one.
Thank you for a very thorough explanation of how the solo game placed… I am so it would certainly be interesting to see a full solo play through, if you feel inclined… Cheers and thanks
Thanks for video! Definitely cleared some stuff up for me. I like to play games before I show other players so any game with solo mode if a bonus for me. That way I'm actually playing the game instead of pretending to beat myself.
Please make the how to play video for 2nd edition… I don’t think any of the current videos for 2nd edition are that great for teaching a new user to the game. Thanks!
Could not one have one of the harder cards be used as a reshuffle deck card? If played with all of them, then after doing the action on it, reshuffle. If if using none, just go with that one as a simple reshuffle card
Hey, great Video. I ask myself one question about the Movement: If Sam stands on the first Building on the path and (for example) - the red building AND all the branches were not there, but the blue building - he had one step to move Where would he go? Would he pass the shortest path defined by the arrows? I just can't find a clear definition of "the shortest path" anywhere (in my opinion it could also be the shortest path by the amount of buildings on the way OR to Kansas maybe).

I belive it is shortest path by how many buildings Sam has to count during movement.
