- Being driven foot flat to the floor... not that you'd be able to tell if you were stuck behind this thing! It's not too bad on the flat once it gets going... just don't drive it up any kind of incline.
Hill climb from 7:00ish. I'm surprised the bus reached the top to be honest!
This bus was serving route 402 from Tunbridge Wells to Sevenoaks.

There had to have been something wrong with the engine and/or the Voith gearbox. It almost sounded like it wasn’t in the correct gear 1 when going 3mph up that hill
Okay, this was actually going a lot better than I was expecting until that hill spawned; I actually have no words for this.
I genuinely was enjoying that bit. But that hill... no thanks.
To be fair that is a pretty steep hill. I've driven up it several times in numerous vehicles, and even had some 1st gear action in a Cadet trying to gett up it :') Best bus I got up there was a ZF B7RLE, managed to get to the top in 3rd gear. Was rather impressed.
The thing that GloriousWater loves.. is R2 and R3 on 12% hills haha.

Yeah, I had a DB300. I don't mind, but it wasn't driven particularly fast... so meh
@@gloriouswater538 I dont know why but most DB300s are never driven fast. Maybe i just get bad luck with them.

This route used to go to Bromley North! I've never knew it used DD's.
They used to go on it once in a while before the cutback (and were even the allocation long ago) - now the route only goes to Sevenoaks it's allocated them again.

Its a D7C 215Hp (Probably a lot less now), with a heavy ALX400 body... what are you expecting?

There are many of these that can go up hills... Take 6412 for example. And also, it may not have much HP, but you’d at least expect it to climb a hill to a certain extent that is safe, because that really shouldn’t be on the road like that
