    I absolutely love wolves, and in school we did a paper report about canines and I chose the wolf.
    I think it's funny how this is basically my report in one video.
    Although I didn't know the eyesight.
    Also another reason why pups need regurgitated meat is because their teeth are too soft for full on meat.
    And to people out there saying wolves fight to be alpha: Shut up. They don't.
    And the reason they wait for prey to move is because they themselves are less likely to get injured.
    And the reason they respond to a human howl is because in the wild they communicate with other packs often and mistake us for a similar wolf species with our voices.
    And jeez who would eat wolves?!
    Did you know WolfDogs are more aggressive and bigger than both dog and wolf?
    Mk I'm done.

      There are 2 major instances where there is dominance fighting. The first is when there's a culture of violence in that specific pack (which usually revolves around one specific wolf being unusually violent, 40 driving out her mother and one of her sisters and eventually being killed by the other females after going after a different female's pups and replaced as female alpha by the much more well liked 42 who ended up raising 40's pups in stark contrast to 40's violence) and there's some outsiders who'll fight for alpha status when attempting to join a new pack though this is fairly rare and usually in packs where the alpha male is dead or gone and two loners fighting each other to try and be the new male. *Usually* alpha status is passed on peacefully when an alpha dies or when an alpha doesn't have breeding options in the pack because all of the remaining wolves are too closely related to them.

    I don't care how many people try to say it. I will never believe there is no hierarchy amongst wolves. I owned a hybrid, and had to fight him twice to keep my position as his leader. In a pack without order, there would just be chaos.

    • @user-mz1fk4yb1o
      @user-mz1fk4yb1o Před 2 lety +8

      The hierarchy as we know it only occurs in wolf packs kept in captivity, because they are not related to each other and therefore need those strict rules in order to function. Wild wolf packs however are one big family, with the "leaders" being the parents, then their first litter, their second one, and so on and so forth. Therefore, such hierarchy is not needed.

    • @richdavis7621
      @richdavis7621 Před 2 lety

      @@user-mz1fk4yb1o Which leads me to believe that in the wild they don't need to form a hierarchy. They still have leaders. What if one of the parents are killed in the wild? Do they not choose another leader? It is well studied and documented that wolves sometimes leave a pack to go start one of their own, by either finding a female, or taking over another pack. I have researched, and watched several documentary's in my life about wolves and have yet seen one that say's wolves have no hierarchy. So if you know of one, please let me know. I'd like to watch it.

    • @user-mz1fk4yb1o
      @user-mz1fk4yb1o Před 2 lety +8

      @@richdavis7621 Well, you're right, they do have a hierarchy. My point - and probably the one of the video too - is that it's not as strict as we believe. When we talk about an "alpha male" for example in human society, we mostly imagine some kind of bossy, dominant guy who always makes sure to stay on top of everyone. And for wolves (in the wild) that is simply not the case, because the alphas are the parents of the rest of the pack. Of course there is some form of hierarchy, just as there is in a human family. But parents - no matter man or wolf - don't dominate their children. They of course teach them respect and there are rules that have to be followed. But that's not the alpha dominating their child, that's just teaching them the way of life.
      The fact that wolves leave the pack at a certain point is very normal wolf behavior. Packs always roughly stay the same size, the amount of pups being born more or less equals the amount of wolves leaving the pack to find a partner and form a pack of their own. They do that between 2 and 3 years of age, when they become able to get pups themselves. Again, equal to how humans will at some point leave their parents house to have their own home and family.
      I don't know what happens when one of the leaders dies. Actually, I wonder what happens. Wolves typically don't breed inside their own family (that's why they leave at a certain point) but if there will be no substitute for the alpha that passed away, the pack would slowly vanish. Maybe the leader that's left cares for the pack on their own and finds another mate?

    As the saying goes, it takes a minute to fall in love with somebody and a lifetime to forget them. In my case it is the wolf. When I was in my twenties I drove behind some truck who had a gray wolf chained at the back bed. Driving behind I was looking at those fascinating yellow eyes and fell in love- forever. All I can say I despise these humans who eradicated this amazing animal from the face of earth (or at least the US). And those hunters who take pride in taking their photograph over the dead corpses' of many wolves they "courageously" killed (yeah, pulled a trigger from a helicopter). So we have less and less of this wonderful creature around us and all we can do is watch videos about them online. And when it comes to this particular video I must say there are many (and I mean MANY) mistakes and errors displayed.

    21 is just the most to Wolf Lovers like me is face palming for how
    Damning and Manipultive it is for those that think of how Wolves are what people characterized them what they really think of when Humanity itself are the ones who are Greedy and Destructive, out of all the Animals they could've used as a Tired Villain Trope 🔁 over and over again, it could've easily been the 🦁 that's often all about obtaining Power and dominance being Arrogant Vindictive Culmanating Tyrants or the 🐑 and Lambs who are equally all the same that's actually in reality by the basis True colors of their Wool how the see any Animal different than them, if not better even against their own kind if its a another sheep thats 🖤, they're Flock just vilify all together each one following thier exact behaviors and Spinlessly mistreat them
    symbolizes Conformity, Sheer Callous & Spitefullness,
    and real cautionary for how Cult-like or what Society sees and mistreats others and anything else thats different in their system thinkjng it's a normal good thing they 😂 at look down upon and talk big
    for whatever circumstances they see in their 👀 bad, yet they are the Monsters that shows revealing their real true Colors by their actions alone,
    Simce it's not that far 📴 how realistic it is by today's standards and 🔙 then in through helluva lot oldest years in the long days Past.
    Or better yet what about the 🦊, they actually are the ones who are much more symbolizing Greedy, Manipulative, and Destructive Swindelers
    than 🐺s are.
    But for no reasons why it's always the 🐺 that gets the bad rep being bashed into the ground always painted as the Villain and never always the hero, exactly like imagine the expectations of what an 😇 does and what a will a 😈 will do, in reality of you look last through against that BS what they or anyone else besides them tells you what they are the roles reveresed as i said in reality
    😈s even Fallen 😇s are the ones that are good but the 😇s they're actually the real knes who are most Evil just like in one of everyone's favorite Stories
    Paradise Lost.
    So A word of advice for those who see this 💼 in ☝️, don't believe in anything whats said and written, not even any single sentence verses from a 📖,
    It's just something that People use to spew their 🐂💩🤥s they 💕 to
    badmouth and 🗑️🗣️ just to suck in those ignorant and small minded enough or that desperately helpless and vulnerable by any means necessary through given chiice or
    extreme Force they want to shove 👇 throats like jamming a hardrive
    too hard the effs up a 🖥️, because the history 📚s has shown us countless endless times before more than not 🔂, twice, triple, or Several but a crapton too many to count,
    even the most famous recognized figures known by many that are more than anything but Human like Scholars and
    Philosophers alike for example that explains us, Human or Not, warns us of what any and all
    Living Beings especially with Humanity itself for sole prime reasons that'll do anything for power from Words to Actions using 😨 as a source preying upon leeching off of,
    Like I said before whatever they 👁️ under any particular if not beyond inexcusable reasons whomever, whatever that's done nothing wrong of the kind.

    8:08 Just like the Europeans have made the native inhabitants near extinct. An old habit of the Europeans doing the same thing everywhere they go.
