  • A walk through of an Executive Suite at Vdara Las Vegas. Not all of this suite type faces the fountains, you need to either book one with this view or ask for it at check in.

Thanks for sharing, Paul. I have often seen the floor plan layout on their website, but never had seen a video of the Executive Suite!

It's the best suite in the hotel except for the Loft. I prefer it to the Panoramic even. Maybe for your October trip!

Maybe the Executive Corner Suite next year! We have tried 4 different suites, and the one that provides me the most satisfaction is the City Corner Suite, surprisingly. Not even the Fountain View City Corner Suite anymore, because the regular City Corner Suite has a long hallway entrance that I find best conducive for working online live video, far enough away from the bedroom, thus not to disturb DW during very early morning hours. (Sliding bedroom doors provide minuscule sound barrier.) Even though it only has one bathroom, I do like its extra spacing and 2 entrances. Not for the October trip, but will be using this suite during the ending-November/beginning-December trip.

@@wholewheat2k What days ending of November? We were debating a few nights for Thanksgiving since we have my birthday month dining credit with Wynn.

@@PKPhoenix83 Now that you have asked, I thought we would have been there two times in November, but now I have confirmed that it is really only once: 10/26-11/2 (Excalibur & Bellagio) and then again 12/2-12/10 (Vdara & SKYLOFTS). Darn it, crossing paths sure would have been a highlight of our visit! And I do love Thanksgiving in Las Vegas, but unfortunately that is not in the cards this year.

Debating on this room with the extra half bath or the city corner fountain view which has much better views but only 1 bath

If it was me solo I'd go with the view room. If it's with my wife, I like the extra half bath. I hate waiting for the bathroom in the morning.
If you can upgrade at check in, there are 3 Panoramic Suites that have fountain views and 1.5 bathrooms. They are located near the top of the hotel. I have a video of one.

Considering I barely paid anything for it on Labor Day Weekend, I'm good. Plus I've had head on Fountain views. My fav is actually from Paris or Cosmo. Now that MGM owns Cosmo I'm going to try to get a Boulevard Tower Penthouse in the Reserve.
