Wonderful people and absolutely beautiful country. The landscape is breathtaking and the beaches and amazing. Now it’s heartbreaking 💔 to know the town is closed due to the volcano. I just found out about your channel from a viewer mentioning you in the comments from @Bushcraft Bear's CZcams channel, he lives on the island and has been posting twice a day since it erupted.
Anyhow, I've never seen lava close up and it sounds stupid to say but what boggles my comprehension is that it's molten dirt and rock! That's just astounding to to see. I get how ridiculously obvious it is and intellectually what else would come out of a volcano?! But the images at night of this liquid fire give me a much different impression. Anyhow a long winded attempt to express my astonishment and awe of this wonderful planet we have the privilege to live on.
Also I want to say that I have felt deep grief for the agony of those who have lost their homes, land, businesses, villages, any livestock, poultry or animals of any kind. Plus the wildlife that has perished along with the insect world and trees, vegetation. It's heartbreaking, soul crushing at times. So I am far from indifferent. Just needed to say that so I don't get any negativity back. 🌋🕊️🙏🧡🇮🇨
