- This is the first of three parts for "Episode 1: Welcome to the Callisto" of the Canadian Nancy Drew TV Show that was made in 1995. Unfortunately, I only have four episodes of the thirteen that were released since I own the UK version of the DVD that only contains these four episodes. If anyone has the rest, please upload them.

Tracy Ryan as Nancy really is drop-dead gorgeous, isn't she.
It was a great show, fresh, witty, well acted. You saw a fair bit of Toronto, too.
Pity it only ran for one series.
She's also heard in Little Bear (5 series) and Timothy Goes to School (2 series). Isn't it great?
This brings back so many memories! I always tried to catch it because at that time, I was probably one of the most obsessed Nancy Drew fans around...seriously, I read all the book series, the original hardcovers written in the 50s and 60s to the Nancy Drew Files written in the 80s. I even wanted to be a member of a Nancy Drew fan club, LOL. So, around '95 when I saw that there was a new TV series, I was beside myself. I always tried to nail down the air times and tried to catch it but these were the days before online TV schedules of course and there was usually no TV Guide around. So I missed most of the episodes. SO HAPPY to see them loaded up here! Thanks for sharing!
yeah, in the US, this show was part of a block. It was 30 minutes Nancy Drew, then 30 minutes Hardy Boys. I don't remember much about the Hardy show, but one of the actors was Paul Popowich from Catwalk,
I'm in heaven.. I remember seeing an episode and couldnt believe it was Nancy Drew. My aunt got me reading her books ever since I was a little girl I think I read my first book at 8 years old and I just kept getting more and more period I read like 2 Hardy Boys books but I wasn't as into them as I was Nancy and her home girls Bess and George. I thought it was cool for a girl to be solving cases and going on adventures. I would get so lost her books. I started writing my own mystery books because her and (goosebumps too). I was thinking about Nancy Drew late af last night guess I was feeling nostalgic and reminiscing on a more simple time.. Where I did things that made me happy. I'm gonna start doing those things again. By getting this books or I guess audiobooks and I saw a older series in the related videos that I'm gonna be watching.. I'm so excited OMG. When this particular came on in the 90s I was hype y'all to see a modern version of Nancy Drew a brunette artsy chick nothing described in the books like a modern twist for that time. These books I read as a girl were old not sure how long these books been around perhaps the 60s and 70s. I was reading them in the early 90s. Whenever I went to the library at school this were the first ones I went to. So glad there is a channel for Nancy Drew fans. This means a lot ❤😘

pamela sue martin was the best nancy drew ever..she LOOKS like nancy in the book..and she SOUNDS like nancy in the game..
I think it's a generational thing. Pamela Sue Martin was my Nancy also, but my mom would be more familiar with Bonita Granville. Actually, I even think Sophia Lillis did a good job in the 2019 movie! *(I didn't like the 2007 movie though-although that wasn't all because of Emma Roberts-the story tried too hard to be "cute")

Tracy Ryan was a good actress, but she looks nothing like the Nancy Drew as described in the books. Nancy had strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes... she was about 18 and Ned Nickerson was away at Emerson College. I don't understand why the media doesn't get that part right.

@Brandon Brooks yes, because we are old fashioned, the new and different versions of Nancy drew are absolutely different and opposite of what we grew up in. Like for example: George is afraid of a lot of stuff and is very girly. George is brave, a tomboy and loves mystery just like nancy. We like the old and the same plot of nancy drew, not the opposite
PLEASE PLEASE post the Hardy Boy episodes from 1995, I have been looking for them everywhere, all I remember was that it had an awesome theme song!!!!!!!

Where was this filmed? Her license plate says 'Land of Mystery' and that map is of no place I know!
It was filmed in Toronto. Some episodes of this series were filmed on location in France.

not too crazy about the hopped up collagen lipped tramp stamp Nancy but this is a really well written well acted version - no surprise there since I prefer MOST Canadian programming to the US
