To stop your hand s or fingers from feeling sticky just add some oil to you hands.
That’s how we do it in Jamaica 🇯🇲
Here is a pro tip for pealing green bananas, put some cooking oil on your hands to cut down on that sticky substance. I love green bananas. I'm originally from Jamaica and sometimes you can cook them with the skin on, you just have to cut the tips off.
It is called a Gas cookers because it have both gas ovens and gas cooktops. The gas serves as fuel and it gives a gas-powered flame. This gives you room to cook on the hob quickly and the oven part gets hot faster. It often has a low running cost compared to electric oven cookers.

You should get Nesto to get someone to make a little hole where the gas is under the counter so the hose can go through the back to the stove that way you won’t see the cord at the front

The one we fry in western part of Africa is called plantain precisely Ghana and Nigeria we eat ripe bananas and it is different from matoke we boil the green plantain and fry the ripe ones

Miss Fle if the cooker is broken then it should be returned most appliances have warranties which usually last for 1 year or 2 most customers purchase extended warranties. Tell Nasto to review the user's manual to check out the warranty and also call the store where it was purchased ....the food looks delicious 😊

Trying finding someone to have a look at the knob and fix it. I think what it is, is that the knob was fitted incorrectly. Try removing the knob while it’s in the off position and then replace the knob in the correct position. I am scared someone leaves the gas on accidentally.
Actually I tried removing it but I was unable I will find another way to fix it

The phrase "along" means beside, with someone/something. "The phrase a long" measures distance/time. So you see the phrases mean two (2) different things. I only speak American English. That cleaning of the bananas is very tiring. There is an easier way. Do as if youre opening the banana with a small knife and open it up with your fingers and it will come out from the skin whole.

With matooke u can't u need to use a knife.these are east African highland bananas so they are not soft to peel with your hands.i just didn't know that kenyans to call it matooke coz in Buganda we call them matooke.

Hi miss fle here in Uganda we also eat ripe bananas and another way of cooking matooke is using banana leaves and mashing it tastes delicious with gnut stew, meat or chicken stew.
Even you see she doesn't know how to peel it here uganda we grew up 8yr girl tought to peel.

Matooke is light but normally it has complementary or side food like sweet potatoes or Taro and other types of yam. Otherwise men who are doing manual work normally prefer Ugali. Ugali is very tasty if you know how to cook it. I have tasted Zimbabwe Sadza/Ugali. Ever since I eat Ugali when I am not eating matooke etc.

Miss for those small fish look like sardines we eat them in mustard sauce etc they come in a flat can but I want to mention why don’t let all those flies lite on your food don’t u know flies carry diseases and they crawl on all dead things? Garbage dead animals etc then u cooked the sardines it made me sick to know that those flies where all over that fish start covering your food with a light cloth it can still get sun dried and keep the flies off! Flies are disgusting and can make you very sick! When u went on the porch flies where everywhere you need some screens up to your windows keeps bugs out! Screens
