I already live in California. Wouldn’t be that long of a drive. (California sucks, imma move away instantly when I turn 18 and Oregon is a pretty chill state. I’ve been there before and the scenery is amazing.) wouldn’t be a bad place to live my years.

I completely agree with keeping organs in jars, once I get my top surgery I want to keep my chest-nuts in a jar, ya know, fight the people whining about removing working organs by saying it's decor now.
I’ve heard they don’t let you because at least some places send the tissue in to check for cancer and stuff

I'm extremely lucky and live in such an amazing place. My doctor is so incredibly kind and thoughtful, she plans on getting me on testosterone soon as I turn 16! (the legal age here.) I'm certain I'm not the gender I was assigned at birth and I CAN'T wait for next year. Turning 15 this march 9th, wish me luck for one last year of *constant suffering* lol. I love you Pax, good luck and I wish you the best!

i havent finished the video yet but i REALLY want to go on hormone blockers since im rlly young (if thats still possible at my age) but yk parents and stuff. im literally waiting to be eighteen and to start working more and move out and start to save up even more for top surgery and t. i rlly cant wait till im 18 even more now bc of shit my sister said last night when we argued so yea lol

Wow, I'm surprised to hear it's that easy, even for a state as progressive as Oregon. A lot of CZcamsrs said they had to wait two years, but I follow a lot of UK folk so it's probably different in the US. I live in California so I think it'll be easier for me as well. Anyway, congrats on taking T, very happy for you :)

I’m so stoked for you! Getting your hormones right is such a relief. 💚💚 (my pharmacy also did that “you need to get an authorization“ thing, and like... if my doctor didn’t authorize it, they wouldn’t have submitted the prescription to the pharmacy. That process makes zero sense to me.)
People love to claim its sooooo hard to get your tubes tied or your uterus removed but its really not. It used to be like that and nothing is stopping you from threatening law action against the rare bone-headed doc who tries to refuse it. My mom was able to get her tubes tied and didn't have to battle for it, so did my aunt and so many other women I know and my state is pretty conservative.
Seriously, if any doctor tries to refuse you, threaten law action then they have to.
They are banking on you not knowing your rights but the threat of lawsuit sends them complying.

I've been on T for a little over a year now, and I had a pretty similar experience to you.
I live in the Seattle area which is very liberal, and I filled out all of my paperwork with my pronouns and being a trans man etc. I started T when I was 25, and my doctor looked at me like "Yep, you're getting on T" when I mentioned wanting to see a gender therapist.
It's been great so far, but oh man I agree with the Problems.
My voice is way deeper than it once was and I'm actually being gendered correctly at work by strangers. Too bad I have to wear a mask and my facial hair is covered.
Oh man, im so happy for you! I know transition has been hard because of medical stuff, and to finally get to take this step in your life!

The appointment I told my GP that I'm trans, I suddenly started getting the respect I deserved, when I said I wanted a hysto as a cis girl. Haven't gotten it yet, but I'm on good meds, and I want to focus on my top surgery first. I'm so glad you're having a great time with this!

I've beenon T for a little over 5 weeks now, and I've noticed that I have started to grow facial hair, and I'm so excited to have facial hair and for my voice to drop!

for anyone afraid of or who has a phobia of needles, like me. you don't have to do T shots! you might be able to get Testosterone gel or cream instead which is a topical (on the skin) form of T which requires no needles and it's really nice imo
I have neuropathy so most topicals are hell for me but the alcohol based kind dries on your skin almost instantly so it's not neuropathy hell!
you can also get patches but I was allergic to the adhesive
