    Thanks for the tour Ashlyn and congrats on the 1k milestone. It does take a lot of power to keep the crops planted/dressed/debugged and harvested and then incorporated into the feed to food stream. Your operation is amazing! Keep those tykes interested and growin' and in a few years you'll have more helping hands who already like tractors! Thanks for tolerating us during the heat....and as always...Thank ya'll for dairy farmin' and feedin'!

    I'm the guy that tuned all those tractors. It's been a pleasure getting to know and working with your dad and uncle. I'm tuning a 260 Magnum in Pine Grove, PA today, and the customer referred me to your channel. Good job on these videos 👍🏼

    Great equipment tour. Ash, you started to look as tired as the twins before the GoPro battery went out in the truck. There's a lot of pride in what you folks have built up and it comes through in your video. Stay safe.

    I came across your channel a few months ago by chance. Your video's are great to watch. I have young calves too, I'm well used to them looking for their feed. You guys have awesome machinery and the large sheds to house them. Good luck for the future.

    Congratulations on 1K subs. Thank you for the video. You have a wonderful farm and family. Would be an interesting video to learn more about the "tuning" the tractors for so much more HP. I've heard of it but I don't know anything about it. Is it risky at all for any part of the tractor or does it shorten it's life at all? Otherwise, sure seems like a win/win. Thank you.

    • @rohrerdairyproductions4080
      @rohrerdairyproductions4080  Před 2 lety +1

      Well I'm not expert on tuning but we would have someone come out to tune our tractors. There is a limit to the amount of power that you can add because and engine can only handle so much. But if you tune a tractor to a hp that makes sense for what your doing and is safe then everything should be good.

    • @rohrerdairyproductions4080
      @rohrerdairyproductions4080  Před 2 lety

      I talked to my dad some so I am right one part that could get damaged is the drive tran. You need a heavier drive tran if needed. Also the tractors we tune do not go out of Deere's hp specs. For example John Deere makes a 8360R and 8370R and our tractors do not go past those specs. Very good question by the way.

    • @Ticky66MN
      @Ticky66MN Před 2 lety

      @@rohrerdairyproductions4080 Thank you for the clarification. That is what I was thinking of was the drive train and not being built for so much power. Good explanation on the JD specs too. Makes sense to me. Sure makes good use of the tractors you have then.

  • @lewisnolt
    @lewisnolt Před 2 lety

    Also, I can tune that Claas 970 to 980 specs, which would take it from 800 hp up to 900 hp. 😉 The mechanicals are the same on both machines.

    Why are the front tires backwards on the 8270r? Didn't say much about either mixer. Really looking to a video on the TMR mixing process and a description of the ration components. And Oh how many years between you and the twins?

    • @rohrerdairyproductions4080
      @rohrerdairyproductions4080  Před 2 lety +1

      We rotated to the tires for tire wearing reasons. I do have a cow feeding video. Might need to make another one soon. Between me and the twins... 17 years.
