This song was cut from the planning for the musical, however I really liked it and I thought others also liked it, so I just combined them for convenience.
By the way, it sounds like the video ends before the song ends but that's just the full clip and there's nothing I could do about that.
I love the way he sings about Penelope, Jorge really makes it sound like a teenager (it also gives Hamilton vibes with the rap)

If you listen to the clips in “the challenge” when Penelope is singing the “buying you time” part, in the background, the suitors are singing: “time is fleeting its running out! Time to be the man of the house!” For how we long Penelope is doing the buying you time thing. Just smth I noticed

Just saw someone on the discord say that when the full musical is released they will record an album of the cut songs. Idk how reliable that claim is but it might be true

The first part actually made me cry when i heard it. It kinda voiced how i felt about my own dad. when i was younger I used to think he was unstoppable and I used to think he could take on anything without feeling tired or being weary. Because he was my dad, what on earth could hurt me when he was around?
I grew up and watched as he slowly got more and more tired. And now, although he is still strong and active, the tiredness is evident and my brother and I hell him out more with his hobbies.
Hm. A lot of cut songs (like this and Ismarus) kind of have a Hamilton vibe to them. but like, in a good way, if that makes sense? You can even see hints of it in the final release of the troy saga.

If the musical were longer and all these songs could stand alongside the current ones, thered be alot more "call and response" of leitfmotifs, like the show already has this, but it would be reinforced with backstory like this. Maybe itd be a little samey but damb is it cool

Penelope (Odysseus’s wife) is cousins with Helen, who all the kings of the surrounding lands wanted to marry. Odyssey was among the men, but when he met Penelope, he wanted to marry her instead of Helen (who was known as the most beautiful girl in the world).
