  • Philippines đŸ‡”đŸ‡ Boodle Fight and Legal Advantages of a Foreigner Married to Filipina
Today we have a Philippines tuna boodle fight and talk about the legal privileges of a foreigner married to a Filipina and living in the Philippines. This was a really great feast at a local restaurant in Digos City, Davao Del Sur, Philippines. At the request of many commenter’s, I made this video about the advantages and privileges you get under the law in the Philippines for being a foreigner married to a Filipina. Thanks for watching my Philippines travel vlog!

maybe it's just the term, boodle fight, which started from the military. it's just the name that they gave it to. but the activity itself is ancient in culture. filipinos do that in celebrations. maybe not in manila but in the far flung provinces.

You Pinoy spouse can also legally own a firearm and buy ammo. You can't, but you can still have it available to you if needed. From what I understand, if you apply for residency thru your spouse's citizenship, that does not end if your spouse passes away at a later time. You can continue the residency.

I have been going to immigration 4 years now. When you first enter as an american foreigner, you get a free 30 days, But BUT you have to have an ongoing ticket out of the Philippines. After the initial 30 days, You can request visa extension up to 1 month the first time, that usually coat about $60.00.00. After you have been here 59 days , then you can requst visa extension for 6 months at a time, that is usually About $200.00 every 6 months. Also, you have to get your ACR-I card, Alien certificate of registration.

So my principle interest is what parts of American Legal Theory former territories or dependencies of the US rejected or implemented into their law and why.
