    The token/dice tray can hold 20 unsleeved tokens and still perfectly fit exactly 12 dice on top. Awesome product review I have the stronghold it's a quality box, no complaints.
    (Edit) I don't advise getting the white colour it gets dirty very quickly

      Yeah, good call - i avoid the white colors on deck boxes as i find they get dirty even if i am careful with them.

      Yea, I got a white sidekick and like, within a week of living in my backpack it was “worn out” on the edges of the lid. Though personally that isn’t a complete deal breaker, at least how mine discolored.

    Both deck boxes practically the same but i use the ultimate guard one since its cheaper than the stronghold at my local card shop.

    Hey man, do you always use Katana sleeves? Wondering how will these hold up if I use Dragon Shield sleeves. Heard they are thicker so less cards can fit inside.

    Don't get me wrong your video is good, but you are reviewing "premium" deck boxes and you are not trying to fit real 100 double-sleeved card deck. I have Ultimate guard and I am having issues to fit the deck in the tray (using Dragon shield matte + KMC perfect size). That means you definitely will not be able to fit Dragon shield combo with Perfect size Sealable. I think this is vital information for many people out there who are looking to buy such expensive box. (They are probably not buying such box for deck not worth to double sleeve.)
    Also, players who double sleeve their decks and/or constantly changing and experimenting with the decks, may look for other uses of dice trays, such as if you can fit sleeved cards or tokens the tray. And again UG just barely cannot fit the sleeved card in the dice tray. (If you don't want to see the ugly side of one sided tokens, great way is to sleeve them too.)
    That is actually why I am here, to find out if Gamegenic can do better than this. Based on the specs the trays are little bit bigger than Ultimate guard's. It might not seem as a huge difference, but maybe it is, but we will never know from this review.
    TLDR: missing Double-sleeved deck test with non/sealable perfect size inners + additional tokens; missing fitting sleeved cards in dice tray;

      The Watchtower 100+ also doesnt fit a double sleeved edh deck with dragon shield sleeves as the outer.

      @@GiliacHeskel in that case do they fit a double sleeved deck with dragonshield resealables?

    • @GiliacHeskel
      @GiliacHeskel Před 2 lety

      @@xXCigarXx You will not be able to fit double sleeved deck with Sealable inners into Ultimate guard. It is barely able to hold double sleeved deck with regular inners.
      Gamegenic stronghold XL (exclusive version designed for thicker sleeves) will hold no problem double sleeved deck with any inner sleeves.
      I am not 100% sure about non-exclusive version of Gamegenic boxes and Thicker inner sleeves, I have only the XL version.
      I suggest you to check videos from Tolarian Community College for more details.

    I got a flip n tray and it doesn't fit 100 dragon shield double sleeved card with resealable perfect fit inner sleeve so i'ts a big no go if you're using this high quality protection.

    • @ninomusician
      @ninomusician Před 3 lety +2

      Fits perfectly fine for me double sleeved too. Make sure there's no air in your sleeves. Very common when double sleeving

      @luciechariot6805 Před 3 lety

      @@ninomusician I did some testing since then and i think that it's because i'm using resealable perfect fit inner sleeve. Since there is another layer in the card compared to other kind of inner sleeve, it might cause it to be a bit too wide for ultimate guard product.
