- MasterChef Canada S02 E06 Full Episode: The next team challenge involved a special three-way live challenge at a university campus, serving poutine to the most customers possible, with the two losing teams going into the pressure test. David and Sabrina were the captains of the Red and Blue Team respectively, and David chose Line as the Green Team captain. Each team had to create a dish from different proteins selected by David (pork for Red, beef for Blue and chicken for Green). Despite several initial set-backs, Line's Green Team emerged victorious by a margin of seven votes.

The Red and Blue Teams had to recreate a dish of tortellini covered in a cheese sauce. Both David and Sabrina were allowed to exempt themselves or one member of their team from the pressure test. David chose to save Michael while Sabrina chose to save Jon. Christopher made the best tortellini, while Sabrina, Cody and Andrew also performed well enough to be sent to safety, leaving Kwasi and David to face elimination; Kwasi was eliminated.

Their food was simple, easy and delicious. Plus they did not spend time bickering the other teams.
Facts! I have really come to like Line. Recently I found out after her time on MC, she lost one of her daughters to addiction and now she is fighting breast cancer. As a breast cancer survivor myself, I'm rooting for her once again. ❤

Idk if you noticed, but from watching the part when the chefs have announced the winning team, I have noticed that Kwasi is the only person in that specific field spot who showed sportsmanship and how much of a kind person he is for the green team's victory despite of the high disappointment and unfairness reflecting at the faces of his fellow Blue teammates and the Red Team.
It's just sad that his MC journey had ended at this episode.

There's a possibility that a lot of those students were migrants and most people can't eat Beef or Bacon due to religious or cultural reasons. Chicken is the only choice for many and that also helped green team

I'm rewatching the series and hadn't seen a lot previously. Unfortunately I misjudged Line because of what I had seen. And the way she looked, made me put her in the same category as those people from the "Real Housewives"-shows. But with all that I've seen now she comes off as something miles above that. I never found out her military background back then for example.
I didn’t like how Sabrina called line a sneak just for saving herself that one time. Yes morally it’s right to stay in and save somebody else but at the same time it’s a competition, you want to get ahead and win, that’s the whole point/reason why your there. Never liked Sabrina, she always seem so stuck up

Kwazi and Christopher should've been sent up to the balcony to be saved. They're the only 2 who showed good sportsmanship being happy for Lin and the others winning

David and Line had good ideas, and it was innovative. David's downfall for his poutine was it had too many components on it, so it took way too long to put it all together.
And another thing, Sabrina sat there and said "It's like a two man race." Girl, the green team sold so many plates they had to make MORE butter chicken. I didn't see anyone else make more of their protein because they were selling so much.

for beef poutine, I love the flank steak idea, but I would have went with a mole' sauce and cotija cheese with some pickled jalapeno and cilantro for topping

Between saving yourself and fighting other homecooks who used to be your teammates, I don't think either option is better, and ofcourse, why bother doing things in a hard way when you can make it easier for yourself? It's clearly not the time to "prove yourself" if that means digging your own grave
I don't know why the other teams are looking down on line for choosing to save herself. She's here to win the competition, not to look like a saint and be a "hero".

Poutine is the best thing to come out of Canada. I've eaten it Quebec City, in London, Paris and, strangely in Hong Kong. The best was at a Canadian pub in Central London. - the staff and chef were all Canadian so in reality it was effectively in Canada - culinary extraterritoriality.

When I first watched this I literally screamed when they said David but then after Micheal said he was going up I WAS SOOO RELIEVED
The Blue Team went back to campus and immedietly turned back into the "cool" kids that think of the school days as the best time of their lives. Sabrina became a bully and John and Kwazi became the Jock Football players.
Hey is no one giving credit to david and sabrina for not choosing themselves without regrets unlike line !
