The only thing they need to do with the Lego Spinosaurus is to make it twice the size of this Lego Baryonyx.

The Baryonyx colouring is good, but the proportions of the body are a bit weird for me.
My only real gripe is that they reused the Indoraptor legs.
Personally, I'm just glad that we have a new dinosaur species. Wish we could get more herbivores, though.

More herbavours fore sure but the preds like rex are just cooler to most kids so they get the spotlight. If lego did an african theme it would get more lions and leopeards then antilope or wilderbeast.

Funky Funky $50 sounds about right. $60 is just a bit too much and $40 seems too little. Considering what else you can get for roughly the same price and what other Jurassic world sets are being sold for.

People can customize this baryonix and make the JP3 spinosaurus. The only good thing about JP3
Yeah I considered that but it would look a little bit funny with building techniques
The other good things were alan grant and the feathered raptors
I've done that with an indominous rex a while back.
And check out "Extinct Bricks" here on youtube. He's made a lot of custom dinos(spino, apatosaurus, stego, hybrids, etc...) in a way that looks like official lego designs.

Honestly, I could live with the thumbs, but the raptor sickle claw toes really bug me.
For me it doesn't, as the sickle claws are just as big as the regular claws on the foot.

The Baryonyx is a really good figure with good coloring, my only problem is the feet. The Baryonyx doesn’t have a hook claw on its foot in both JP lore and in the fossil record. Other than that it’s a really good set besides the price, probably the best in the wave imo.

The walking pose is actually accurate, all spinosuarids would use their forearms to help stabilize when walking.
Not all spinosaurids. Not even the most accurate spinosaurus does this

We finally get a set with the Barryonix (probably didn't spell that right) but never heard of "the adventures of isla nublar". Why does lego need to include a vehicle in everything. I'm disappointed with the legs 😢, but i still love it, i think they should do( a new body, the t-rex legs and tail, this head and indoraptors arms) for a spinosaurus they would need only one new piece wich they did with a lot of dinosaurs

I have the original spinosaurus, I never liked how it used the trex head and its peg was deformed, the only qc issue I have had with Lego.

About the Spinoaurus : the Spinosaurus actually had very short legs. Just a little longer and thicker than the arms.
I don't mind the use of the indoraptor body mold, but why is the neck so long on this thing?! I know it's longish canonically but definitely not as long as it is in the set. Bring the head part down and it's great.

I love the baryonyx people complain the body of the baryonyx I think the body is good with the head it looks like the baryonyx I like the design of the baryonyx body and Lego you the best
How I would have made this set better. A bigger landscape build with a big lake more terrain. Skip the trailer and car, with more of a walking through the jungle type thing. Then the minifigures encounter the baryonx at the lake. I would buy it for the same price.

Yeah that baryonyx looks super odd. It looks so goofy. I was almost excited for the new head mold, but the neck looks super derpy.
