2024 Young Leaders for Health Equity and Civic Change Program | Chicago Conference

Creative Reaction Lab (CRXLAB) facilitated Young Leaders for Health Equity and Civic Change Program (YLP) in Chicago. Throughout the weekend, an impassioned cohort of 20 local Black and Latina/ae/o/e/x Redesigners for Justice™ ranging in age from 15-26 convened to explore the tenets of Equity-Centered Community Design and develop interventions that address educational inequity in Chicago.

Represented Schools included Benito Juarez Community Academy, Chicago Bulls College Prep, Columbia College Chicago, DePaul University, Harold Washington College, Illinois Institute of Technology, Instituto Justice and Leadership Academy, Kenwood Academy High School, Malcolm X College and the University of Illinois Chicago.
