At which thickness do you nickel-plate ? Given a CPU power of 200 W, 10 micrometer would add 0.2 °C in CPU temp. Not much, still we have to be careful. I think 15 um should be ideal. How many minutes do you plate (deposition speed is about 0.3 um per min for stiftgalvanik) ? What are your views ? Have a nice day, dear friend 🎉

Hi, I'm going to repair my ps3 because i've got the blinking red after start up. This problem came gradually, took every start up more and more time, so i'm almost sure that i have to replace the nec tokins. My question to you do you know if there are bettter replacement tokins or do i really have to order the original crap tokins?🤣 Iow what would be the best tantalums and do i really have to change all nec tokins on both sides or just one side with bridge?because it seems to me that leaving the old nec tokins on one side could become a problem later on.
It is not oxidation, it is forming an amalgamation between the two metals.

I have a small issue here, hope you can help. I tried to disassemble my old ps4 fat to clean it and change the thermal paste but I just couldn't pull out the wire of the PSU that connects to the motherboard, not from the mobo side and not from the PSU side, it's dead glued.
Tried pulling in different ways, tried with twizzers, even brought it to the nearest repair shop but the damn wires don't want to come out easily so I was it handed it back the same, and I really don't want to break them or rip the connector. Cleaned what I could reach and while it really did help with fan noise the work is still incomplete.
Any ideas? Maybe you encountered such issues before?
Hello Yeah, this is nothing new, the first time is always hard to get it out... You can use contact spray, just spray it over the connector and wait few minutes, than give it a try. This should help to get it out easier ✌️
Hi i want to ask you what is the best model of ps3 slim cech-21xx or 25xx in term of less temperature?
If you will delid it, you gonna have good temps on both. Without delid the 25xx could run a bit cooler. But i would go for the 21xx

Should be no problem, i have tape way hotter GPUs and never had a problem 😅
NSC i have anither problem decided to sell my ps3 to someone at work and now they camback saying the ps3 doesnt connect to wifi i got it and it true randomly out of no were the ps3 go strait to ethernet doesnt allow the option for wifi

@NSC-Modz incase someone has this issue I reinstalled rebug and still dint worked but I notices something was off in debug settings that I took pictures before re installing and it showed it was on before now it showed off I enable WLAN, before it showed it was on but dint work

But I fixed in debug settings the wlan option which is the wireless network showed it was on but it was actually off, I figured that out because I took photos of every option and re installed the rebug 4.84 when I check setting that was off after install but before it showed on
