As a barista can confirm that all of those drinks are terrible. When we were sampling the spicy lemonades i legit threw up after. Let's hope that the summer berry refresher is at least ok.
Back when I was in college (around 2015) they had a spicy chocolate frappe. It was hot and cold at the same time. Weirdly it wasnât terrible. I kinda liked it. Iâm excited to try the spicy drink lol
@@jacobsilvis2471it doesnât matter if not that many customers come your still going to get paid minimum wage and trust me if it doesnât work out there are still many different cafes who would hire especially if you have experience

As a barista, firstly the olive oil drinks are supposed to be infused into the drink, like steamed with the milk if your getting it hot, in the foam for cold drink, or shaken in with ice and espresso(donât know whatâs up with the floating oil in those drinks), also the spicy drinks even though I didnât like them at first, just taste like tajin and whatever flavor you get, either strawberry, mango dragonfruit or pineapple, still not my fav but yea
Yes thank you this is what I was just trying to explain in Texas and Mexico we put chamoy and tajin on everything especially fruit so itâs not that weird (not sure what Starbucks is using though I havenât tried the drinks) I heard the oil is supposed to make the coffee richer but that one is a little weird to me. I donât really try new drinks at Starbucks though unless they are like buy one get one deals cause I donât have Starbucks money like that lol so I just stick with what I know I like.
Actually no. If you do it right it can make the milk creamier and gives a nice depth to the drink. But starbucks kinda screwed that bc the oil shouldnt float on top thats gross.
Plus, their prices are tooooooo high! Who is still buying their drinks? Fast forward to an empty bank account snd no memory of what the coffee even tasted like. Truly special food is memorable- truly unforgettable! Is that your morning brew? Probably not.
The prices are not for the coffee but for the experience and the grandeur You can never set prices in these products Just move to semi premium coffe chains
I've tried the chili powder multiple times and in different ways it just isn't good in my opinion. I did have a funny interaction because of it though. Every time someone asks for the spicy refresher we usually try to warn them about the spice level and suggest removing a scoop. We'll this guy wanted the mango dragonfruit one and we told him, he didn't care and bought a trenta ( that's 5 scoops of chili powder). My coworker had to go and get milk from the back and the guy stopped and told him "you weren't kidding this sh*t really spicy".
Barista here! The Olive oil drinks aren't as popular as they probably KY expected, but the spicy refreshers are popular. The people who like spicy enjoy it, at least in my town.
