She has superb, top notch arrangements so her covers are more like reimagined versions than covers. She also sounds really great on her live release. I’m really pleased to have discovered her. 🎉

I love Cass’s voice and style . I just discovered Jane, and love her version of “It’s gettin better” too. As a kid I fell in love with singer-songwriter Laura Nyro whom I have listened to for my entire life. So in a sense, I think I understand how important Cass and her music may be to you🎉

I really loved this Cass Elliot song but I heard this and I have played it over and over. I am a professional musician working over 35 years in America. Knowing what I know I think there is some studio background also playing here. There is clearly an acoustic guitar playing rhythm guitar but I see no acoustic player on stage with her. I also thing there is some studio help in the back up vocal department. That just sounds like more than to back up singers even though they’re electronically overdubbed, there are more parts that I hear but I don’t care. This performance is brilliant. I love it, and I will listen to it for quite a while I think I discovered it last night, and I have listen to it already a dozen times, I’m not sure when this was recorded and what television show it was on we don’t get this in America not even sure what year it was. But she is brilliant and so is her band and I know she is 59 maybe 60 but I would hate to see her retire, I get sick and tired of Music being only a young person’s profession. Yellow some of us get much better with age. We’re not athletes who just can’t do it anymore. You can’t even compare it. I know touring is really really hard specially, on the tour bus and that can be tough when you’re older, but even if she slows down, I would love for her to continue because she is blowing me away, yes this song is getting better and it certainly got better in one respect. I will always love Cass Elliott’s version but I love this just as much.
