I did one of those big, multi night bus tours a few years ago. It took you from LA to Yosemite and San Fran...never again! Now when I book tours, I try to book small ones, as they're more intimate and the tour guides can be a bit more lenient. I have a 4 day Isle of Sky tour from Edinburgh coming up next month, so this video has gotten me excited as it stops in the highlands too!

Thank you for the video. We wanted to book a highland tour which cost us 1000£ for 3 pax and we glad we will choose renting car.

You can get specal mini bus trips that go to less touresty places and more fun.
We still burn peat at times its a very slow burn and lovely.
The first time Nessie was mentioned in 56ad becaus he attacked on of St Columbas followers, so Nessie is very old and thats why he cant be arsed to say hi.
I hope i could come back to Scotland .. i miss Edin alot and visit the Highlands also Falkirk where my late husband is from .. 💗

I’d definitely agree with some of the comments here that so much of the hidden Scotland and highlands was missed! There’s so much hidden beauty and hidden gems to explore if you’re not bound by strict tour guides. But loved the video never the less. I have started uploading videos of our lives and adventures living in the Scottish Highlands if anyone is interested ❤️
What month was this?
We used Highland Experience and we went Saturday to Monday, saw allot more. You stay 2 night at Bed Breakfast. And we were in mini bus no more than 15 people. It was the best. 😊
Came back 2019, drove all over Scotland. 🏴

What’s the tour bus service that you guys recommend from Edinburgh to Highlands? ( especially to see harry potter train location )
We preferred Timberbush! But we’ve also heard Rabbie’s is really great too
Would you absolutely recommend the bus tour for a solo traveller? I plan to spend my birthday in the highlands but I'm afraid it could feel like I'll be travelling in a bus the whole day. Was all the travelling worth it even if you only spent around 15 mins in Glencoe? Thanks!
We did tours with Rabbies and had a great time, just a few people, no crowds, lots of fun.

Did you have issues with the miggies at the harry potter train? we were there last year in march and had thousands of bites waiting for the train.
Oh dang, no we didn’t experience that, it must depend on the time of year..lucky for us that doesn’t sound fun

Watching your video, as you drove past all the best spots. Down all the little roads, that you could’ve took on your own, was saddening. All the little nooks and crannies. That take you to wonderful places. you pass by every last one of them. The place you stop to see the train. Is for tourists. I would’ve had you up close and personal with that train. It’s a shame you guys spent all that money to come to Scotland and only seen it from a bus window. Never do that again. Make your own Scottish adventure. Don’t rely on tourist traps….🤷🏻♂️🏴

Can't go down every little road though. I only have 1 day to take a day trip out of Edinburgh this July and a guided bus tour would be very useful for me; else I won't get to see the Highlands at all.
Just stay in the USA people.
