NO ONE can sing like Robin EVER!!!!!RIP💙💙
100% right Sylvia.
His voice was a God given Gift!!❤
Robins voice is angelic...the only one of its kind. It has been silenced though death..but he will sing again in paradise...
Ever!!
His son Spencer comes close!
Robins voice is phenomenal! He is unreal and my favorite! ❤
Robin's voice touches you'd heart and soul. You're not the first to shed tears when really listening to the words they singing perfect harmony 😢❤❤❤
This is one of my favorites mainly because of Robin's voice, I think however if you what whenever he sings you can see the emotion on his face. I love The BeeGee's but as I have gotten older have really started enjoying each of their voices individually. RIP Robin and Maurice. Thanks Barry.
Great to hear Robin's voice so prominent on this track. Lovely!
Robin is my man! I love that guy and his beautiful singing. He is my favorite. Rest In Peace, Rob. You are truly loved and missed. ❤️🌹❤️
Robin's voice is awesome. He put the early bee gees on the map.
Nothing can compare to Robins voice. He took this song over the top! Love this song. Love Robin always.
Love your reaction, especially to Robin's chorus. His voice is amazing. I can understand how you got emotional when you heard him sing. Robin's voice does that to you. As Maurice said, Robin sings from his heart so you can't help but feel the emotions his voice invokes in you. It is one of a kind and can never be duplicated or imitated.
Listen to Robins voice. It's haunting and yet beautiful. This is a spectacular song. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I am 70 years old and the Bee Gees are the only musicians that I can listen to every song on the album. Every one of their songs is a wonder.
For me they are the best group EVER!!!!!! 💜👍👏🤗
The BEE GEES are beyond description. They are pure talent and pure MAGIC
Love this beautiful song! Robin can blow. He’s so emotional in all his performances 🥰
The song has such a haunting quality. You can't help but internalize the pain and the loss.
It is nice to see your reaction to Robin Gibb's beautiful voice 👏👍like you do
I think he is fantastic and with his brothers coming in with their nice voices.

My opinion is for their bother Andy and lose of loved ones.
Good to see a man cry to my favorite group I grew up on🥰🥰🥰Robin opens his arms like that because it expands your lung capacity and helps belt out those beautiful lyrics. As a singer I'm sure he knew this. 💜💜💜 Bee Gees forever.
My all time favorite band. Love them all. The music was always so diverse, from the early years to the disco tracks and then beyond. This is my favorite Bee Gees song, but of course I have sooo many that I love. ❤
This song is amazing. Barry sounds different on this one and the haunting sadness in Robin's voice that is perfect for this song. It wouldn't be right if they had any other arrangement.
Lyrically one of the saddest songs ever written! Your emotional reaction to the lyrics combined with Robin’s outstanding vocal says it al.l, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this reaction to one of my favourite sad songs ever!!! 😍🥰🥰
That's not only a song, it's real art of music. A anthem. The difference between them and many of worldclass musicians/songwriters, is their ability to always find the way to both heart and soul of the listener. But it seems to me, some of them have shields, so they don't want to be overwhelmed by emotions. These are the ones, negatin' them. What they don't understand is, theres no competition needed in music. Music is a gift for us all, to find our inner flame. And it helps us to survive. In case of the Bee Gees, they searched for a way, to bear the loss of Andy.
Thank you 😊 I never heard this one❣️❤️🥰 Do I Started a Joke
Yes,please do 'I started a joke.' Love that song.
I started a joke is my favorite BeeGee song and this one second!
WHAT A HEART TOUCHING SONG. I AGREE THE BEE GEES REALLY SOMEHOW HAVE THE ABILITY TO REALLY BRING TO LIFE THE ESSENCE OF LOVE. HAP, YOUR REACTION WAS INCREDIBLE!!💜💜🎶🙏
Gorgeous song. I haven't heard it before, but if I ever need a reminder of just how beautiful Robin's voice is, this is what I'll listen to. I remember their little brother well. Crazy talented like his brothers. His descent into drug use was fairly public - the tabloids were all over it. His family tried to help, but it turned into a tragedy.
This Is Where I Came In is one of my faves, too. So is I Started a Joke.
Robins voice is always stunning...but even more so on this song. The way his voice over powers Barry's on the chorus knocks me out every time I hear it.
He sounds real good in “ALONE”. Patty
@@barbarabrafford7102 100% agree with you about Robin's voice. It is magnificent!
Agree about Robin!
This song really waterfalls into such a smooth melody that rips a person’s Heart out of your chest 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I know how you feel. It brings back happy, sweet, sad, and exciting times. I loved that era, and the Bee Gees did it perfectly.
Aren’t they wonderful?!! That’s why fans continue to listen to their songs 30-40-50 years after they’ve been recorded. I read somewhere I think that this song was written about/for Andy. This would have been just a couple years after his death.
Barry said in a 2009 interview with Tim Roxborogh that this wasn’t about or for Andy, but about heartbreak in general…..& especially when someone’s lonely.
@@kthorRobin said in an interview that he wrote it about Andy and Victoria Principle.
@@kathieovercash8414 I've seen this comment before on YT & not sure where it came from. First, it was written by all 3 & I've never seen any of them say it was about Andy & Victoria. A couple songs from the One album were written for/about Andy & that album was dedicated to him. Of course this song wasn't written about their father, but the Size Isn't Everything album was dedicated to him as he passed away a year earlier. From what I've read, this song isn't about anyone in particular, but about mortality, reflection, loneliness & the passing of time (per Barry's interview with Tim). I also don't think they'd ever write a song about Andy's broken relationship with Victoria. They wouldn't allow Andy's duet with her (All I Have To Do Is Dream) to be on a compilation album, so I don't think they'd wanna profit off his broken heart as well.
The best singers in the world for me❤❤
You ARE reacting!! Like the rest of us who ♥️♥️♥️ the BEEGEES
They are singing about their younger brother who has died
The title of the song, 'For Whom the Bell Tolls' comes from the title of a 20th Century novel by Ernest Hemingway, who borrowed it from a line of a sermon by the 15th Century poet and cleric, John Donne. (It basically refers to the church bells that were once rung upon the death of a person.) I've heard that they wrote this for their younest brother, Andy, after his death. I think the most amazing gift The Bee Gees had was to make almost every single one of their songs so instantly relatable, that you can't help but connet to it DEEPLY, upon the first hearing. (So many times, we have to hear a song a few times, before we really get into it, but they made you connect to it, instantly.) WONDERFUL reaction! It's hard NOT to be moved by their music in some way!
I agree it sounds like for Andy and yes Barry and Andy had a special relationship, basically twins themselves.
I believe also it is relating to Andy's failed relationship with Victoria Principal and his slide into a drug-filled life and eventual death at a young age. She left him due to his problems and he never recovered from this.
Barry said in a 2009 interview with Tim Roxborogh that this song wasn’t written about or for Andy, but about heartbreak in general…..& especially when someone’s lonely.
bee gees crying everyday
Oh the Bee Gees! :D
It's a song with a deep meaning.
Beautiful music, lyrics. Bee Gees are great. Real artists, real talent.
Totally in tears, as well. Their music really reaches deep down, into the soul, into our hearts.💖💖💖
Great one, Hap ♥️
I absolutely love this song♥️🎶 I listen to their songs everyday and thank god there’s so many amazing songs to listen to!🎶🥰♥️
Their little brother Andy died in 1988 from a heart infection after a battle with drug abuse.Barry was very close to him.All 4 of them were married young and divorced ,and later remarried. The song is about heartbreak, breakups, and loss.
"For whom the bell tolls".
And death, the bells would toll for one who had died. Also for you is good bye for me is to cry. There's a hole in my soul and so many more parts like that.
Song is written about Andy's breakup with Victoria Principal and his descent into drugs and eventual death at 30.
Wow!! I never knew that!! No wonder Robin, Barry & Maurice sing this song with such unparalleled passion!!
@@kateandphoebe I had No idea!!
I never heard that. I'll have to listen to the words more closely.
Barry said in a 2009 interview with Tim Roxborogh that this song isn’t about Andy or written for him, but about heartbreak in general….& especially when someone’s lonely.
In another interview Barry had said what it was about. The parents themselves blamed Andy's girlfriend for his decline. The song was written because they were all in pain and perhaps blaming the wrong person. It was a shame. The lyrics give it away.
Right, I think the tears are the right reaction, it’s so beautiful it brings tears. Love them , Robin sings like an angel🥳
All time favourite song
You can love a thousand times, but you will only Be In Love once..
These brothers touch my soul like no others can.....I was tearing up with u💗
It's a very emotional video, I agree. I never get through it without tearing up. I've watched it for years. Church bells toll for people that have passed away and for all human kind. Thats what the saying means. Then you have Robins voice, the statue of liberty and the buildings where so many died. The video is a flood of emotions especially with the twin towers there. Makes one think of life before that awful day and all the people lost that were in those buildings, the families hurt etc. Yes it's a very emotional video. And I thought it was just me 🤣💚
Perfect sentiment and comment. Such an emotionally wrenching song and video. Absolutely love this one.
What better reaction than an emotive one, #hap3speakz do NOT ever apologise for being human, great reaction to a great song. 💜
THEY ARE THE BLESSED IN THE WORLD OF QUALITY BESTOWED ON THEM! No doubt they were blessed from above!!! BEEGEES were the epitome of R & B & SOUL!!! Prove me wrong! I know EVERY WORD TO EVERY SONG!!!
Thank you for your reactions to The Bee Gees- can’t help but care about them and see your appreciation! I know Barry must be so terribly lonely.🙁
I can't believe I haven't heard this one before..It feels like one huge, warm embrace! Absolutely beautiful!
Beautiful reaction, the Bee Fees are absolute geniuses!!!!
This is one of my favorites of the Bee Gees. Thank you Hap for the great reaction.❤
So so haunting, my heart is hurting hearing this song.💔💔💔 thank you hap 👍😍
They do it to me every time, too, Hap💕💖
One beautiful song! I have never heard this. Magnificent Heartfelt Reaction Mr.HAP! ❤️❤️❤️
Never be another Robin.😇🥰😍🤩😚
Wow! Never heard this song before! Excellent! Love your reaction and energy Hap!!
The Bee Gees are my #2 group (Queen #1) and I've loved this song since it came out! Masterpiece!
I haven’t heard this song before. It’s amazing how they harmonize so well with such different vocal ranges!! Amazingly emotional reaction!! 🌻🌻
Love, love, love❣️ I loved your reaction, Bee Gees can bring you to tears just by their voices.🎶🎶💕💕
Yes they can Rebecca.
You will never hear a better Vibrato from Robin ever
Watch 1958 TV on youtube first time on tv Barry 10 twins 6 years of age Barry still sings on stage today longest singing group ever The brothers wrote all their songs Best songs and talent ever Thats why they still sing today Some in spirit with Brother Barry
Great review! I am glad that there are some songs that can still make grown men tear up. Robin was called the Songbird for a reason. What a voice! All these men were amazing.
Wow! New York City with the Twin Towers in the background!! Bee Gees are timeless!
I don’t blame you!!! They are the best there ever was!!!❤❤❤
I love Robin voice....
I'm 6'2", 220lbs former Army Ranger. Glad to see I'm not the only big fella who keeps onions close by when this plays. :-p The melody and Robin's power just overwhelms.
Always make me emotional
The song was written by Robin after Andy died.
It is unfortunate.
Robin had told his other brothers to use tough love and I think hindsight he felt guilty as did the others, I read Mo was really tore up over Andy's death.
@@kenhamaker Barry was the one who tried tough love on Andy. Never heard Robin say anything about that.
@@ellenmontgomery8533 - Andy was living with Robin in Thame to stay away from access to drugs and watching over him. He was trying hard to help him but Andy was beyond that.
@@ellenmontgomery8533 right Ellen
I have heard this before but I still get chills when I hear it.
Fantsstic reaction!
I love so much your emotions, it's the most important that the songs gives us
This song is so special when Robin takes the leads, some kind of magic and feelings and emotions exploted with Robin's unique and angelical voice, I can see He shine at high level in this solos
I can suggest another songs from the earlies 60/70s:
Masachussets
I've gotta get a message to you
I've started a joke
I saw a new morning
How can you mend a broken heart
Lonely days
My world
(greatest ballads and pop songs, before era disco sound)
Have a nice week
See you in next videos
Your reaction is priceless, and totally understood. I love them too!!
Thank you!! 😁
Master story tellers, masters at bringing out emotional reactions.
I love when the chorus starts you get the distinct voice Barry and Robin make together right before Robin takes off alone.
Very good!! React HOW CAN YOU MEND A BROKEN HEART live one nigth only Bee Gees...
Now we can cry together 😂😂😂
Hap! I gotta say, ur so humorous w/ ur reaction specially when u mimic the sound or sing 🎶 Go go Hap!
Oh this song just touched me so much with their wonderful voices. Robin looks so ..... attractive here 🤭💜 awww love the Bee Gees.
This was for their father and Andy they miss them both.
I love robins voice wish he sang more songs.
He sang a lot if you look up their discography. Early on @ 50% and again after the "disco" era.
Play You Win Again!
They’re magic. That’s what’s up with these guys
It's my first time listening to this song! I really enjoyed your interpretation and your humor as always! I think I like this song to be honest, it's in my head now. Awww absolutely feeling the song like you said! Thanks for this request, Debra.
Isnt great sounding!? And the lyrics...
@@debra7105 Yes, indeed. I'm so happy to be introduced the music I have missed. 🎧🎶💞
His comments are bothering me a bit. He's going on about how there's more fish in the sea, it's not about a broken relationship. The song is about them missing their little brother Andy who died. I liked his commentary until that part.
@@douglascorcoran3173 It is not about Andy.
@@lilly5157 I got that idea from another reaction channel. After I commented, I listened to it a few and I think now that I was wrong.👍
The True Tragedy is that we will never hear Robyn's God given voice!
So true Mary. I miss Robin terribly. He was my favorite.
@@robertaclark2996 I feel you on that. ❤
he was mine too.
Yes, we will hear his voice again!
Love love love your reaction to this beautiful song! Also your Bee Gees graphic is just too cute.
Love these guys!
Same here Lonely Days is a great song also. Tme up. This is well done. Just😢
I believe this song was written by Maurice about his own life. A lovely song sung by Robin and Barry, but you can see Maurice singing, too.
The song Maurice wrote about his life is called "Man in the middle". Very telling.
Love your reaction love the Bee Gees
Beautiful reaction. Best reaction ever!
The Twin Towers are gone, also the twin Gibb brothers (Maurice and Robin) are sadly gone.
Watch You Win Again!
its great to see you completely touched by them and brought you to tears man... really emotional track and video.
I feel it too! They’re so good... I miss them as if I knew them!
Hap3SPEAKZ I cry when I hear the BeeGee also and I cry with you
They are talking about a lot of fish in the sea. They are saying that there is only one person who will know you as deeply, intimately, all the foibles and fears, you have, Because they have only loved one person the same way and allowed themselves to be known by them. There aren't many people who REALLY know you in this life, and these lyrics are talking about how you can take that kind of love forgranted and not realize how rare and precious it is until you see yourself losing it.
For all of us!!
Maybe back in our day it was different!! I’m their age and times were different!!❤❤❤
You are my favorite reactor. Cuz their voices bring you a tad bit teary eyed. U noticed Robin raising his arms. Awesome reaction. Real men cry baby.
Thank you 🔥
Your my favorite reactor. U know why? Because they stir up your soul. U noticed Robin and how he raises his arms when he sings. Who does that? Well sometimes Barry. ♥️. I love your reactions. Beautiful. Real mean get choked up!
Robin was exceptional 👏🏻 He had a amazing voice 💕
Yes, the extreme, desperate feelings are classic Barry. They channeled their grief after losing Andy into a few songs. WISH YOU WERE HERE and TEARS were the first. (Have tissues handy.) Also, they dedicated DON’T THROW IT ALL AWAY to him at their Vegas concert, which is one of Andy’s hits that they had written for him, and not to be missed.
For more classic Barry lyrics, please react to ANDY GIBB I JUST WANT TO BE YOUR EVERYTHING, his first single released, and a #1 hit. There’s an absolutely perfect video of him performing it LIVE on DON KERSHNER’S ROCK SHOW. His full 24 minute set is also available, and I won’t be mad at you if you decide to react to the entire set!!! He sings his first 2 hits that had been written by or with Barry, plus several of his own songs. Another super talented Gibb!!!
Greet from Slovakia. BEE GEES has been my favorite band for years. I like your reaction and yes, their songs are incredibly beautiful, high quality and emotional. This is art in the true sense of the word.
Oh, Robin!!
Sweetheart, please don’t apologize!! Your tears are the most perfect reaction to me… those tears says it all!! Thank you so much!!❤️🎼🎤🎼❤️
This is my first time hearing this beautiful song!!!!
In an interview they said this song is about their younger brother Andy Gibb and his very public relationship and the break up with Victoria Principle.
What better critique can you give, than to show your heart?❤
For whom the bell tolls is a phrase that originated with a line from a famous poem by John Donne: ‘Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.’ This particular phrase was also made famous by Hemingway in his novel of the same name. A bell tolling in this context is for when someone dies.
This is true. I'm 7yrs old. I saw the Bee Gees at Redcliffe Brisbane Queensland Australia when I was young. The boys were very young.
My favourite song, Robin's voice is awesome 👌 ❤
It is such a beautiful and touching song. I just love it! It's one of my top favorites. Fanny, I Started a Joke, this one are all in my top 5.@@narellecruickshank6919
