I think all unis will hopefully be able to put reassuring policies in place as the whole situation develops (and hopefully comes to an end). I think I need to start turning my phone off more tbh. I like using the app Forest, but the longest you can have a 'tree' growing is 2 hours, amd I think I need to be away from my phone for longer than that 🤔 x
If you go into settings and then advanced settings you can plant a tree for 3 hours! But yeah same, as soon as my tree is finished I tend to jump back on it which is not the way to go xx

My school are using Microsoft Teams and it is a very good software where you can hand your work in by attaching Word / PowerPoint documents or photos of your work and your teachers can return your work with feedback. I was nervous that I was going to get confused about how to use it, however it is very simple and easy to use and understand. I’m going into yr11 in secondary school so it’s very stressful making sure I keep up with all the work. I’m guessing it will be different for college and uni but I wanted to assure you that you’ll get the hang of it very quickly ❤️ stay safe! Xxx

As a uni student I recommend a MacBook. It's more expensive but its really worth it especially if you are doing a course which has a lot of essays as its so much easier to type!
your rooms looks amazing with the blue light ! literally I only just got an email from my college about confirming how they will be doing my maths grading, so i know how it feels to be left on a perch without any contact.Its becoming so stressful as i'm doing 4 hours of revision for maths a day to get the best grade possible, and that's not including the work i do for my main course during term time. the joys of lock down but i have had regular contact with all my teachers since i started working from home, giving me some peace of mind hat i'm doing the work being set correctly. stay safe everyone - Emily x

Hey I don't do Spanish but I've applied to do French and got all offers back. I wasn't given an interview. I did not apply for Oxbridge but I mentioned a book ae study at A level in my personal statement. Hope this helps. Xx

If you're planning on just doing Spanish, you need to be able to demonstrate a love for the language beyond just the textbook perhaps through helping younger students. It would be a good idea to go on a taster day at a uni near you or a summer school, but in the current climate Ted talks will suffice.
