LG Policy vs Consumer Protection Act,2019 - opportunity to LG to satisfy a customer with free of cost documents to avoid litigation/consumer court case.
I seek your valued guidance/help on the following points.
    1. Is it mandatory to issue money receipt to customer, especially when insisted/asked for, for part or full payment to any company like LG Electronics
    2. Whether LG or any company can deny to give receipt of part or full payment to customer?
    3. Is it mandatory for company like LG to issue receipt or acknowledgement of return of defective fridge by customer, especially when insisted/asked for,
    4. Whether LG or any company can refuse / deny to give receipt or acknowledgement of return of defective fridge in replacement, especially when insisted/asked for, by customer?
    5. Is it mandatory to issue/give purchase invoice for customer or sale invoice for company like LG covering full details related to cost, payment, adjustment etc.
    6. Whether LG or any company can refuse to give /deny purchase invoice for customer or sale invoice for company in case of replacement, especially when insisted/asked for, by customer?
    7. Is it mandatory for company like LG to give warranty card with proper customer details to customer for a new fridge in case of replacement
    8. Whether LG or any company can enforce unsigned warranty card without customer details ignoring/omitting customer part in their proforma?
    9. Whether customer can legally insist for those documents under Consumer Protection Act.2019 or whether he has to compulsorily accept unwarranted defective documents like debit note without customer details, delivery challan (NOT FOR SALE) with fake value without details of typed product serial number, per unit price, total cost etc?
I am facing simple problem with LG Electronics India Pvt.Ltd. I seek your guidance/help for resolution. I furnish brief of the case.
After my 69 days struggle & sufferings from 1.5.2021, I got replacement of my defective fridge on 8.7.2021 from LG by a different model.
I asked for the following documents from LG which is denied by them stating that it is replacement (warranty just expired) & not a sale. Here I say that I have got the replacement after full consideration/payment and not under any undue obligation or gift or donation from LG.
    1. Money receipt: I paid NEFT payment of Rs.9631.50 towards difference in cost of returned fridge (depreciated value Rs.34560/-) and new model coting Rs.44192/-
    2. Receipt / Acknowledgement of returned defective fridge: I have returned defective fridge and handed over to driver of vehicle to avoid litigation
    3. Purchase invoice for customer or sale invoice for company: I asked for it as a precautionary measure to avoid litigation against theft or transportation or shift in case of Govt. agency investigation including police enquiry or complaint at a later date
    4. Proper warranty card: I asked for it duly completed with customer details & properly signed with rubber stamp to avoid litigation at a later date

How to face the situation where defaulting LG company ignores & bluntly denies the simple consumer request of giving purchase invoice/Bill, money receipt, warranty card etc under their LG policy shelter stating demand against their policy on plea of replacement case. The company on the other end forces customer to accept their unwarranted defective documents like debit note, delivery challan ( Not for sale) with fake value denying required docs.
LG says - . We LG is not going to provide any document which are beyond the policies framed. We had given all the documents which is legally valid in all over India in LG service centre. We are not ready to share anything which infringe the rights of a company. A right to defend or not to share our internal matter which is also a right of company. the illegal demand of a customer is not justified in the eyes of law. A customer is saying to go beyond the policies framed and provide the documents, Hence we LG clearly denied to provide the documents/policies.
What are the provisions in CP Act,2019 to help the customer in explained brief? How to defend the costumer stand against malapert of LG company?
