    Danielle, baby girl. You get a standing ovation and a real big black choir singing just to celebrate you. Dang, honey you did the hell out of that Turkey. This year will be my First time cooking a Turkey. I always order Greenberg Turkey, but they burned down this year before I could order it. My Mom died 3 years ago and she always loved cooking our Thanksgiving & Christmas dinner. We did not have to do nothing but show up. My First year turned out great, cooking at my daughters house in Houston, 2nd year was good. This year my heart was not in it until I saw your vid. So I went bought an 12 lb Turkey since it’s just my daughter and grandson and a few of her friends. Lately I have been busy watching CZcams for all my recipes and have thoroughly loved cooking lately.
    I am so Uber proud of you, you cooked that dang dinner like a sho nuff Culinary Artist. I’m truly impressed. I really stood up and gave you proper respect baby. You made that look amazingly easy as heck. You go girl. I’m going to do mine like yours this year. Thank you so much for giving me a lift about the Holiday and The Food. I’m subscribing and clicking notification button. Keep up the good work. You look like a very young baby to be so wise in your cooking efforts. Block out the hateful naysayers and keep doing you. Cause you got “IT” baby. And “IT” works for you. 🙏🏼❤️💯

    You did a great job with time management lol. That's a good idea to break the turkey down like that. I'm always afraid to do a while bird but I would definitely try it like that tho. Everything looks great!!! Thanks for the video

      @@DanielleLaShawn You know none of my family (immediate or distant) has ever did potato salad for Thanksgiving ot Christmas. New Year's either for that matter. That's more like a summer, 4th of July dish to us. But to each their own, I guess. LOL

    • @DanielleLaShawn
      @DanielleLaShawn  Před 3 lety +3

      My grandmother used to make potato salad for Thanksgiving but she had a bunch of visitors. With me cooking for just my family I know they they don't all eat it so it's not always worth it to make some things even if I like them.

    Hi Danielle, I hv a daughter by that name..smiles.. Wow! That was a lot of work to do by yourself! You did an amazing job! Happy holidays to you nd your family. That was what we ol school folks call a serious "spread." Your grandmother taught you well; plus, you're a "clean" cook also, in which to people who grew up in my era, is just as important than the food, if not more..Lol..Not many young ladies, now-a-days have cooking skills on your level. Soon, if not already, your little twin, is ready to learn from her mother's amazing gift in the kitchen. God Bless you & yours! 🙏🏾💜🙏🏾🥰

      I think it has less moisture and therefore it makes a syrup easier... Could be wrong though. Lol

      Tip, take the back of a porcelain plate that you don’t care to mess up and run your knife over the rim of the bottom of the plate and it will sharpen it if you don’t have a knife sharpener! :)
