  • St Andrew's Cathedral is home to South-east Asia's only change-ringing band - an antique art of bell-sounding that can be traced back to 1600s England. The team, comprising between 12 and 15 people - most of whom are Singaporeans - operates from within a hidden chamber in the belfry of the church in City Hall. The chamber is accessible by a narrow, winding stairway.

A nice tradition to keep alive, keep together this bell ringing team! It is beleived, by several religions, that ringing bells dispel evil spirits! Keep on ringing those bells!

@thin red line I think you never heard the bell ringing during someone's wedding or on a special day.

@thin red line I think someone didn't understand what change ringing it about.
The idea that pulling ropes is random.or somehow you can remember the changes.
