- Brilliant Labs does not suffer from a lack of ambition. This three-person startup is aiming to outmaneuver the giants of Silicon Valley in its quest to develop augmented reality glasses for the masses. A tall order? Yes. But Brilliant Labs has the backing of some big-name investors, so don’t write them off just yet.

This video gotta be late, because they already got frames. They managed to fit it in a smaller for factor.
But can it handle power level over 9000 😂
Vege _ _ :Impossible!!!😡 , Kakarot.
RIP
The look of bankruptcy 😂
It's the scouter from dragon ball
Lol your power levels are through the roof😂
The way he is speaking pretentiously I, for once thought it might be parody
I'm not an optometrist, but i think that creating a lense for just one of the eyes, (and therefore makes it work more than the other) could affect your vision health! 😮
That's how most AR devices work. They use one eye so that you could refocus more easily.
Bazinga! You are hitting the nail on its head.
As an optometrist I can reassure that over the age of 10 years old and indeed in absence of full time use - this is not a risk at all.
@@MrSRMatthews I wear an actual monocle in my left eye for vision correction, and my right eye has no correction what-so-ever, and my brain stitches the two images together perfectly. I imagine this happens with a screen too?
ChatGPT powered Google Glass
not even
No, I'm not convinced, It’s only text being shown to the user & only if you have glasses in the first place to clip it onto, only on one side??? No thank you I'll wait for the next thing that’s better thought out.
Do you have a token/share listing?
Google glass 😂
Yep… except worse. And the “AI” bit is an easy software update for any device.
@@HiThisIsMineWell, at least it's open-source, doesn't cost 2000$, and is available to the general consumer. So, it's actually better.
Need ONE here
It is very helpful in interview
just AR, no AI
It picks up text from your iPhone lol
Bobak is the read inspiration, kudos to the man! 🚀
Tribute to akira toriyama, its over 9000!
better to just build these feature into the glasses itself. Noone wants to hook a lens onto one side of a glass. Makes the glass weight uneven as well.
PS: The nerves of the founder to call himself CEO of a 3 man team.
Black t-shirt: The go to get up of a wannabe Silicon Valley tech entrepreneur.
What is this? AI from the 90s? I’ve not seen such slow response time since that time period
Isn't it similar in function to Google Glass ?
you don't need anything else to talk to Siri.
Why should this not be a „I wanna be bought“ thing?
Why do I see Steve Jobs speaking
every key word.. let's go lool
Without me ;)😅😅😅
I still can’t see what’s the difference. Significant difference to be a game changer. Perhaps the title indication “taking over meta and apple” had skewed my thoughts, perspective and expectations. Don’t simply name a title pls
In the current form it's not functional, but remember, this kind of tech is now the worst it'll ever be!
Can't wait to have our own Jarvis 🤖
Officially we are living in future😅
If it can't see the power levels of other people, do I even it?
i will buy this and or glasses but I'm not getting a chip in my brain
How long until the piece about the whole thing being a scam?
Rabbit definitely wins over this one 😂
Apple And Meta are not only AI-Powered Smart Glasses companies. How this startup will take on them? Don't understand.
No thanks, i will keep my iphone
7 seconds to answer a simple question... the guy says, there's a lack of ingenuity in software... Really? Are 7 seconds an improvement in software? CLOWN! it's an eternity compared to those you dare criticize. C'mon!
The fact that people are hating on this let’s me know it’s going to be huge
maybe
awww poor eyesight gonna get workout of its lifetime
"confluence", "open source", "generative AI", "AR"....sounds like a typical pitch for a dead on arrival startup. All he's missing is "AI ethics"
This is a really innovative form factor. Feels much more natural than looking down at phone screens. Looking forward to seeing where it goes over the next few years!
This is primate level.
Open Source 😂 Sure!
AR/AI glasses will not be mature and have reached critical mass before 2050. There are way too many physiological(eyestrain, seasickness, heating +++) problems that needs to be solved before this.
This title is terrible
I’ll take a $100 this is gonna die within 3 years
"WaiTiNg fOr opEnAi"🤡🤡
Gimmick. It's nothing new. It's been done before.
It's in fact was never done before
Where's your product?
😂😂😂😂😂 look like a z grade google glass
Any example of such a product?
At this size and simplicity it would be extremely affordable
+
the open source approach will ensure they have the most powerful software exclusively for their devices
It's very possible that they're following a business model called
Razor & Blade
Like what Amazon did with the Kindle, they made it so affordable that they lost money on the initial sale
But since you ended up buying books from them, they made good profits
The model here is like apple app store
apps exist, and when we buy them, they get a small cut
but since millions of transactions would happen around the world every day, they would make billions
Literally, since apple makes an estimated 108 billion annually from their "digital sales"
Rather genius!
sorry but that looks like complete garbage, looks ridiculous, weird and any phone can do that
how are they competing with Apple? Apple does not have smart glasses. Apple has an AR headset that looks like a big pair of ski goggles with a soap on a rope battery. Not sure how these are remotely the same products.
Who are they trying to kid?? Clearly designed to tap on $$ SG Govt funding for start-ups, and spend it out.
😅😅😅😅😅😅
lol, no..
Its garbage, just a dummy waiting for display information from host (cellphone)
Ai .. scam
its too slow
Augmented reality is just annoying..just the geeks love it.. we need to unplug..not get more useless annoyance data in our face..let the world go to Pokemon.
Looks like junk
Horrible product
Stupid innovations.
