- These places are so surreal its hard to put it into words.
It was so mind boggling to find a rock tunnel that faced out at the coal vein after putting that much hard work into driving it.
I have no idea why other than the vein was pretty small or the operation ceased for other reasons? All that muck was from AMD water coming through the roof in the rock tunnel telling us there may be another level above that is causing the issue. To be able to see narrow gauge rail in a low 3.5ft gangway was a blessing! This place had so much to offer in such a short distance. Glad we got to document this wonderful mine.

**Please Note: Exploring Abandoned locations especially mines can be dangerous and deadly.Stay out stay safe! I don't condone or encourage anyone to enter an Abandoned structure. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal and when possible, I seek out permission. I simply go to document its history before it's gone and leave things the way I find them. I assume all the risks & responsibility in doing so. Please don't attempt to do this on your own.
Another adventure from the Marvelous, Marauding, Mud Muck Marchers! 😑🦗
You two are clinically insane! But I love it!!
Another great exploration!
Most people have no idea these places even exist.
Thanks man, yeah there are thousands of abandoned coal mines in the region.
I for damn sure didn't expect to be jamming with Carole King @10:15 bro , this one sure was jam packed full of interesting surprises man. Peanut butter and muck sandwiches for everybody dude. :)
Haha this is a cool little mine for sure brother.
What’s the clearance… enough… by enough you mean only for Phil to fit in. That had me rolling typical Phil respond. That was a cool one! Tiny crack turning into amazing rock tunnel! Never would anyone see that and think all of that lies below!
I was literally shocked in awe lol .
" I want my waders " HEck yea !

That looked amazingly like an old Stegmaier Beer can! My Grandfather drank a lot of that!
I was wondering what brand beer it was thanks for the comment man!

Awesome shot at 2:17
We had no idea there was a rock tunnel.Such an awesome reward.
@@577buttfan great find!
@AmazingPennsylvania Phil, you should create an Amazing Pa line of merch with all of your sayings
WOW, both of you never disappoint, But I still think both of you R Half NUTZ :)
🤘😎
so did they just pick away with pick axes to form these tunnels? or blow shit up lol kinda crazy
I think this mine was late 1800s on so they had TNT and eventually air powered drills and such.
Frogs 🎉🎉
It's funny that we were 3/4th of a mile away from each other that day.
This tunnel was rad but a bummer. I really expected it to keep running.
🪨⛏️🤘
Haha,I said the same thing.I also thought those footprints looked like recent waders prints lol.We had no idea that beautiful tunnel was down there.I also think there are workings above because all that AMD was coming from above so we where possibly on level 2.
@@577buttfan I was thinking the same thing with the 2nd level. Let the hunt begin. 😏
