Jan tried to laid on him and exhausted himself.
Jan is criminally underrated. Criminally. Especially now seeing how Rakic was handling Jiri in round 1 and how Pereira weathered Jiri's advantage and then later destroyed him as well as Hill.
Alex never really landed a power punch cleanly. Credit to Jan for that. Alex looked a little slower in this fight though, both of them did. Im guessing Alex will look better in his next fight, the quick turnaround after that ko, and the high altitude probably didnt help.
Alex easily won imo,Jan barely did anything in that fight.

Exactly why I hate fights at elevation, it makes the fighters so wonky and slow

Why would the ufc put such an explosive fight on a high altitude card? It was competitive, but would’ve been way better at sea level.

This guy saying he expected his stand up to be better meanwhile he lunged in for a takedown every they traded for a bit is hilarious. You were too scared to strike bro knock it off
I like Jan,But to Say that he expected Alex,stand up to better is laughable when you try to Take him down 10 seconds into the first round,second round Alex got up,stuff 2 takedown attempts and then you cover your face up on the fence to not get right hands all over,3rd eating jabs,lots of calfkicks and a 30,20 seconds takedown,laying on your opponent…you have to engage in striking battle,Even though they Both Look slow,high altitude,Alex coming from a cold KO loss in less than 4 months,No rush in,patient
It's not ridiculous. Alex's stand-up was meh. Everyone after the fight was saying that Alex didn't look that great. And look at the size difference between them.
Inside jan knows that alex was not normal guy😂

Razor thin fight. Every time Jan landed a takedown, Alex defended the next. Alex pressed Jan at the end of round 2 on the feet but then Jan did the same in the middle of round 3. Pair of warriors.
It wasn't close at all, Jake. Pereira outstruck Jan in the 2nd by 20 strikes and also outstruck him by 13 in the 3rd.
Alex beats Jan Jan beats Izzy, Izzy beats Alex, Alex beats Sean, Sean beats Izzy....Any or every one of these fights could have a different outcome tomorrow...what makes mma so fun!
Jan full of s*** saying Alex felt normal and he thought his stand up would be better when he shot for a takedown 10 seconds into the fight. He didnt stand with Alex until he got himself tired trying to grapple in high altitude

@@Mr.Kaito.1Solid game plan but dont make comments before the fight about polish power and wanting to test your standup against him and then shoot for a double leg 10 seconds into the fight and now he gonna interview and say ah Alex standup wasnt as good as i thought. Jan was afraid to stand until he had no choice
did you pay attention to what he said? he shoot for the takedown because he thought his stand up would be better, and he believes that if he didn't feared his stand up and possibly traded more he would had won. Obviously that is all hypothetical.

I can tell you’ve never been in a fight before any man that hits you bare knuckle in the face is gonna hurt even if he’s a small dude not as much as a bigger dude but it would still hurt .he would most likely definitely kill you if he hit you humble yourself .
