Not because I think they’re bad theories, or that I hate matpat. I hate the fact that they might be true. I REALLY dont want them to be true.
I honestly don't think this one is, it's basically just "every woman is actually Elizabeth Afton". Matpat's always been a fairly reliable source about the FNAF story but this one feels like a stretch at best. I would highly recommend checking out the latest Security Breath theories by Fuhnaff, I think the theory is a lot more well constructed.

- Gregory is a robot
- FNaF 1 - SL are of very questionable canonicity, might be not accurate at all
- Patient 46 is a robot version of Charlie
- Baby owns Fazbear Entertainment
- Vanessa is a robot adult version of Elizabeth
And all of those incite the feeling of "oh god I hate this so much, but you might be right-"

This isn't research, it's insane leaps in logic that disregard swaths of preexistent evidence and the entire concept of Ockham's Razor.
The only reason it sounds convincing is because MatPat comes from a theater background and has been honing his public speaking skills through CZcams videos for years.

Wouldn't it be hilarilous if the games ended with a twist that Afton never killed children, but rather that he was getting rid of robot children, either because they were getting "older" and needed their replacement model, or for some darker reason. In that way turning the perception of Afton as a vicious murderer that has been built for almost a decade now.

Vanessa being a robot would make it much more believable that Glitchtrap would be able to download himself into her.
And even when the robots aren't possesed, they have their own personalities and what they're programed to do. Vanessa would be a humanoid robot programed to "get" Gregory, Probably another robot programmed to stay close to another robot, Glamrock Freddy, and that would explain the glitch effect whenever Vanessa gets close to you, because she has a virus possessing her and another robot, Gregory, his software wouldn't know how to react and would detect a virus, but then why would Vanny only be visible to Gregory? That would make sense if Glamrock Freddy was possesed because if he was then he wouldn't be able to detect the virus.
I never understood how Glitchtrap could infect a human with his virus.

It may make a bit more sense for Elizabeth to be patient 46 now because she’d want to keep tabs on Vanessa. It would also make more sense for the internal memo from high up for Vanessa to become a security guard. It would also be the opposites thing in the therapy. If it’s different versions of the same person. It may be different stages of life for the likes and dislikes?

Y'know, I don't hate this theory at all. It's actually pretty neat, fills a lot of the plot holes, and is far more interesting than just handwaving the double Vanessas. It would also lean into the "Gregory is a robot Crying Child" theory AND the "Glamrock Freddy is Michael Afton" theory if Elizabeth is being the ultimate daddy's girl and trying to resurrect all her loved ones so they can be one big happy murder family together.

Would also fitt neatly with my personal theory that Vannessa/Vanny was the one who build Gregory! (Got that idea from one of the Help Wanted E-Mails where Luis talks about "Nessa" ordering "three lifelike human rubber masks". You know, exactly what one would need to make a robot boy look real xD)
Vanessa beeing a rebuild of Elisabeth could also tie in to why she doesn't like basements (retro cd 9-7143, also hinted at in CD 11-7145 with Vanessa specifically calling out that she likes the blue sky), since Baby was looked away underground in sister location.

I...actually like this one. This feels like the story just fully accepting how insane it is and just having fun with it. That said, even more fun, the idea of the DLC having us play as young Elizabeth to challenge her "future" selves.

Been doing a rewatch of all these theories, kinda makes sense why glitchtrap is even able to possess Vanny if she’s 1. A robot and 2. A version of baby that what’s to pls her father

Like, if they were built when Baby killed Elizabeth, then they're a part of this timeline since SL flashbacks. Still, somehow they never interacted with william, or michael, or henry, or the animatronics, or anybody at all.

Were she deactivated before? then what or who got this older Elizabot to work? It's a fun theory and I kinda hope someone might be able to answer my questions, but I just feel like it's lacking a lot of information right now.

@@frost.0707 Scott is punishing the fan base for rejecting Dream Theory 100%, we had a solid conclusion and figured out the story line, Scott was about to reveal the content of the FNAF 4 box ( likely something related to dreams ) but the fans hated the theory so much that he had to walk back and redo the whole story. Now he's just trolling and making weirdest story possible, where it's almost impossible to solve as punishment.

Something else to help support this theory is the fact that when Vanessa catches Gregory and locks him in that office, and then talks to him on the monitors, Vanny appears and takes over the monitors.
This whole transition happened in seconds, there would be no way that Vanessa could have changed into her Vanny costume that quickly, unless she wasn’t even Vanny in the first place

For once, I actually kind of like a theory about Vanny and Vanessa not being the same person. This is just cool.
I'm satisfied by it because that Rooftop ending bothered the hell out of me and I just couldn't accept the "Her soul is trapped" theory.

If it was a soul or ghost they would have added something visually to represent that, making her semi transparent, adding a ghostly aura, something. The fact that it was just regular looking Vanny standing there looking down just didn't sit right with the idea of it being a spoooopyyy ghost. I had no idea what the alternative could have been, I assumed maybe a secret twin or something, but either way it just didn't feel right to claim 'Oh that's just her ghost haunting the building now.' when there weren't any visual clues to back that up.
That is what I suspected, but no one listened.

I could never hate your FNAF theory vids MatPat. Sure they're not always a win and yeah sometimes they do prompt some nerdy rage on occasion but I do always enjoy watching and rewatching them. This clone thing in the FNAF books is similar to what happens in the movie Gemini Man, Scott Cawthon is a genius game developer. He doesn't reveal much about the story of FNAF, rather he makes us figure it out for ourselves. The lore of FNAF and DDLC is incredibly interesting.

"Sister Location" as a set of words has been used in so many different ways in FNAF that it's kinda just lost it's meaning- A game, a secondary location, and now A PRIMARY LOCATION FULL OF ROBOT GIRLS.
If Elizabeth is the one in charge and the ending where the Afton bot is absorbed into the blob is the cannon ending, that might explain why she allowed the pizzaplex to fall apart in ruin. She no longer needed it.

Honestly? This theory makes a lot of sense. I mean really, who else outside of Elizabeth/Baby do we have in the series that would actively try to bring William back? Maybe Cassidy or some of the others who were looking for more REVENGE. But that's even more of a stretch then Baby being behind it.

This kinda matches an idea I've had floating around that Afton was raising Elizabeth to be his successor , perhaps after she showed interest in animatronics at Jr's, taking parts of Mangle home with her and trying to rebuild it at home. It explained to me both why Mangle was in Elizabeth's room in FNaF4 and why Vanessa's therapist lines point to her feeding the therapist Elizabeth's backstory, not her own.

To add to your theory, iirc, owners of LLCs also cannot be held liable for any lawsuits/other legal trouble against the company. perfect for reviving a company with the reputation of Fazbear Entertaiment. All of this works because most small "sole proprietor" or "partnership" businesses are fully tied to the names of the owners, while LLCs establish that the company and the owner(s) have separate identities and are fully separate entities. Don't take my word for all this, though, as I've had one marketing class in high school and this is just what I remember lol.

At this point The FNAF Lore is a game of Theory Chicken. Matpat keeps making theories that potentially solve the Lore and Timeline, and then Scott works around those theories and makes a game or book with Lore that makes the story even more complicated and intricate. Which makes Matpat go through the lore all over again to try to reconnect the dots, then Scott follows suit yet again with an even more complicated addition to the Lore. They're locked into this endless cycle and they refuse to surrender XD. It's all mind games at this point.
If Scott confirms this is partially just mind games for Matpat I think Mat would politely pass away XD
And then Scott works around those theories and makes a game or book with Lord that most stories more complete the instant matpat goes through the lure all over again trying to reconnect then Scott follow suit skull suit again complete andrex interaction addition to the lore all work looked into this endless circle and they refuse to slender XD . Same here. Maybe because I always wanted Elizabeth to be more involved in the story. Even in Sister Location, we heard her but barely see her.
