Wow, not only did Abe save the gammon during some of those games, he was able to cube Mochy out; bruuuutalll. Never seen Mochy leave so many shots at the bearoff. Great games! Justin, add some "fatality" sounds from Mortal Kobat as well! And maybe a blue shell sound effect from Mario Kart! Lol 😆
Mochy, could you please tell me which clock settings were used for this match that you played in? Are they the same clock settings that were used in your World Championship matches? I'm very sorry to bother you.
@@JustinNowellPlaysBG Thank you for your response, Mr. Nowell. I'm just now watching a video where two players are using the Bronstein time control system with 12 minutes with an additional 12 seconds in the bank and 12 seconds per move on a match to 5 points. Do you happen to know what the penalty is if a player runs out of time?
When you are bearing off, the side of the board collecting all the checkers before they are taken off (the home board) is the heavy side of the board. All of the checkers interfere with the rolling of the dice while the other side of the board will be empty.
Thank you Justin for your commentary and I enjoyed the funny prerecorded comments you dropped during the games.
Justin is amazing!

What are the stakes?
i can watch 15 minutes of this, max, before brain shorts out and wants to sleep
They are playing like hyper turbo!!!
23:48 - missed to hit the clock, which caused lots of seconds to get paid :-)
1:39:29 I haven’t purchased XG yet either, now I know what to do😅
Oh wow Abe mosseri I remember him from poker :)
Yep
great bg action; thx all.
PLEASE send your world-class transcriber to the UBC - they really suck at it by comparison.
Amazing how good Abe is WITHOUT XG!!! I am sure there are many like him in that aspect.
I agree - amazing how he could keep his level without using XG...
Were both players opposed to the baffle? Seems to me it would save time!
Abe was so annoying wiht his checker handling, guy has 8 tentacles insted of 2 arms. With baffle was better for sure.
Mochy prefers cups, I'm sure Abe too. Old school guys are funny like that!
20:58 - am I missing something here? why you've decided to change the board/checkers orientation from this game on?
Yes we changed an orientation every 5 games or so to be 100% fair

12 seconds per move.

Any news on parts 3 and 4?
It will be out soon, sorry. Number 3 will be on Justin's channel but 4 will be on my channel.
Your commentary is great, just cut out the sound effects!
Mochy, what is the 'heavy side of the board'? Justin mentions it at czcams.com/video/Gxm1fRNiRv4/video.html

I have never heard of it. thank you for the explanation Justin.
@@JustinNowellPlaysBG , thanks a lot! I learned something, as did Mochy :-)
