- This is part 1 of 5 of my Provence World Conquest campaign. In this campaign, we will form Jerusalem then form 9 other countries before conquering the entire world.
This video is also kind of a guide video on how to do the Good King Rene Achievement. This achievement is pretty hard but with enough reloads, even Pepegas like me can accomplish it. Hope you enjoy this piece of content!!

Can you guess what countries we will be forming after Jerusalem? Find out next episode!

I like the way you can see that habibi lost a bit of his sanity.
@Dalton Brendan literally nobody is going to fall for this. How many cents do you even get paid to do this ? Not worth the effort mate
Good king Rene? More like Amazing Emperor Rene
Or "AE" for short
I've seen a reddit post last week about starting as Provence and tag switching 10+ times then successfully doing a WC. Was it you? :D
No it’s not but this video is inspired by him and I got advice from that poster lol
Aaa, I just did this achievement today, had a harder time completing it than I probably should have had.
Ya me too lmao
Mans broke the game. Thank you so much for the amazing content
Have you ever really even played EU4 if you havent spent copious amounts of restarts fishing for that fabled perfect run?
It was worth it ;)
Damn I’m hyped! Looking forward to the next episodes.

Well look again ;)
27:08 Why did you no-cb tunis, although you had land in sicily?

Provence and the boys going on the 9th Crusade.
Very nice play ! I really like playing provence, i use to call france for the maine core in the begining but your strategy is fine !
you did it à 18min
you are a legend
I completely disagree with number 4. The mission with naples is unique in that you get cores instead of claims if naples is still under a PU.
Ya sucks that he missed that you need the extra land early game it is hard to get, although you can hope naples goes republic latter as they have an event but 7t delays your missons.
@@C1azed you can DOW england for reconquest of maine right off the bat. you'll have to fight Portugal as well, but you should be able to get maine pretty quickly. that and the province you get from the pope will get your development to 100. Need a bit of RNG that naples doesn't go independant really quick though. The cores really gives Provence a huge boost in military power as you can completely annex Naples via reconquest. I also find it a benefit to culture shift to napolean so you get the option to tag switch to two sicilies later on, while making the italian culture group accepted.
i like your videos:)
Hey this chat doesn't seem racist, awesome!

For a game where some of the most powerful nations are non-white i would hope its pretty diverse
Ah yes two whole minutes of the ai being terrible at micromanaging their troops and engaging in suicidal battles, a classic
What's the song in the crusade montage? An absolute banger
I tried using this strategy and I got a perfect start on the first try, Burgandy didn’t rival France or me, was able to get the pope to 150 relations in like 4 months, Austria relations were up and coming, everything was great
Then France didn’t peace out the 100 years war. Deadass it was 1457 and they were still “fighting” even though it was just France holding onto the continent counties. The rest of the world and my neighbors were already building stronger alliances and forces while I was stuck doing nothing in a pointless war that was already won
You can often get Avignon in the first month or even before unpausing with scornful insult of their rival and purchase indulgences for 19g from Papal controller. I loved this version of EU4 so much I've just reinstalled 1.30.6 to play them again. When EU4 was last fun for me. :)
@@VyktorAbyss yeah I agree, I got so excited for 1.31 because I really wanted to play in Indonesia, and then when it comes out broken as hell I’m just like never mind and keep playing my old 1.30.6 saves
Did this a couple of weeks ago, got France as a PU for free since his king died without an heir. No succession war :)
Damn, the PU over both Aragon and Castille was clutch !
Maybe drop the PU over Navarra ? -1 Diplo over 50 years for an OPM is a waste.
27:00 could've avoided the no CB if you set parts of Tunis as vital interest, Aragon would've made claims on it
Do you have the save game after you PUed aragon and castile? Wanna try it :D
Very cool but can you do it as the knights?
Hey Habibi, can you make a video about Bohemia please?
Very strange attempt at Spain is the Emperor, but great run.
I think manpower bonus from nobility is worth more than the -25% mil advisor. Money you can steal from your enemies but manpower is bigger problem.
I would normally agree but I was abusing Mercs really hard to punch above my weight in this campaign. I would use 3 stacks, one small merc stack with high shock pip general, then a small normal unit stack of 2 cav and some infantry then the free company merc stack (which scales in size as game progresses). I then would link all armies to the high pip general merc stack. This made it so I never had manpower issues and can continue waging constant war (partially why I was at 10 war exhaustion at one point). I think its a little dumb tho that this exists (came with austria patch), in my last war vs Aragon, I completely drained his manpower while still having 17k men in my manpower.
I do remove the adivsor cost and put the manpower in its place in the next part since I am transitioning to a more standard army now that I have like 80k manpower
@@AbsoluteHabibi i usually prefer more manpower than 0,25 gold per month but i understand your view. I hope u will do great WC on this provence. Im actually struggling with my own wc (mughals) so watching someone who is trying to do it too is good to see.
pov you plaing byz very hard difficulty:
this is the one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ayayayay intensifies.
Does Burgundy ever start friendly or neutral anymore?
So intresting. I am currently getting pretty close to finishing a Savoy into Roman Empire run and i use a strategy were i vassalize Provence and then use that first mission to get provencal cores on all of the Naples provinces. Did you mean cores or why did you say claims?
I hate how Provence’s mission tree is behind the emperor dlc paywall
What's the music at 20:44?
I tried an easy version and its difficult but having 54 loans is worth it
>The slight problem is that we will end in war against Ottomans.
That's not problem, that is solution, because in defensive war you would be able to call all allies and crush Ottomans.
All hail the Holy Emperor of Christendom Rene
ai aragon got pu on castile. never seen that
how the hell did that happen?
ruler must've died or something

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it like you only get monarch points for being influenced only in mp and not in sp?
Nah you get the lowest monarch point in single player, AI usually never influences player but it happened to me for a bit
@@AbsoluteHabibi ahh yeah it rarely happens in sp so I wasn't sure myself
Just got question, why u click support loyalists right after you get PU and PU subject has 100% Liberty desire?
It there any hidden mechanic i/wiki/other sites does not about or you just prefer to waste money this way?
Cause as i know it gives you nothing.
1. You have truce with PU subject so it can't make any alliances/ask for independence
2. They won't help you in any war anyway since Libert desire is above 50%
3. There is no diffrence if their Liberty desire is 100% or 55%, only below or above 50% matters.
So it's best to click Support loyalists when PU truce is near over and you still miss some Libert desire to have below 50%.
Or when you still have truce for x years but u want them to help you in war (ofc Liberty desire must be below 70 when u click button)
Bourgeoisie... I see
Hello what's the song during the crusade?
Pillar men theme, Jojo’s bizarre adventure

Burgundy is no longer possible because they always set your provinces as strategic interests.
it is possible just make sure at least 2 of your rivals are also theirs. Fixed it like that
he looks stoned as fuck
Maybe I am 🥴
@@AbsoluteHabibi hold up

How the fuck you could manage having 14 diplomatic relations? Doesn't it make you mind Diplo point?
Well you can get up to 11 relations using influence ideas, strong duchies estate privelege, and mission tree. I did fall behind in diplo tech early on but caught up way later when my diplo tech was super cheap
arabs mad
You should have just fought ottomans. Better to kill them early. With your subjects and allies you would have won easily
