Hii, I am knitting the Ingrid sweater but I'm having trouble: when you turn, do you count the turn stich as the first stich of the double moss pattern? For example, if I'm working the first row of the pattern (1k, 1p), after turing and working the stitch with two legs i knit or purl? I really hope you can help, I'm losing my mind!
Thank you. I would love to but I’m not sure I can with it being a paid pattern. I might do shorter videos of the techniques used ! Im knitting a second one at the moment because I love the pattern so much!
@@philipnotts oh how exciting! What yarn did you get? Haha I don’t know about that! I have a few others for the Ingrid sweater I need to upload! Is it the Ingrid you’re knitting?
I’m working on the No Frills. I’m just confused when the pattern says ** turn 2 sts, then 3 sts, then 3 sts again, and then 4 sts after the last turn each time**
Oh I’ve knit that one, so let me check the pattern. So you repeat the 4 steps written out 4x step 1 and 3 have “turn” at the end. The sentence refers to when you turn. So the first repeat of steps 1-4 you work 2 sts past the previous turn. (You’ll do this on step 1 and 3). Then next repeat of steps 1-4 you knit 3 stitches last the previous turn. Then the 3rd repeat of steps 1-4 you’ll turn 4 stitches last the previous turn. Basically you’ll be knitting a few stitches further each time. Does that make sense?
These aren’t really knit/purl rows, it’s double moss stitch. There is a WS and RS though. I showed two examples at different points in the pattern - one has a purl as the next stitch (first one I do) and the second has a knit stitch as the next stitch (second one I know). Which can transfer to knit/purl rows.
Thank you!!.
Thank you so much for your help ! It was just that I need. Happy new year 🍾🥂
Ong im so happy i found your account omg

Great clear instructions - thank you. How about doing a complete Ingrid tutorial?

My yarn arrives on Weds so I’ll be looking out for your short videos. Just checked out your latest - again so clear. You’re a born teacher.

Hi! Watch Kimmie Munkholm Ingrid sweater. Her videos helps so much. She is working with Petiteknit designer
Do you make increases after 6 rows of double rice or after ? Thank you so much.
Depends on what pattern/what you’re knitting as to where increases go!
