  • @pierrotmonami9506
    @pierrotmonami9506 Před 7 lety +5

    correct me if i'm wrong but his squat is all quads no back and the bar stays mostly over his mid foot, might be moving a little forward while descending. he doesn't use at all that bullshit hips backward technique that starting strength coaches have popuplarized. thought this might be because of his morphology, long torso, relatively short legs

    • @MrClassicmetal
      @MrClassicmetal Před 7 lety +11

      pierrot monami Starting Strength coaches teach the low bar squat which is used by powerlifters. This guys does high bar squats when doing back squats. Different styles for different purposes.

      Love Jesus it's called not training your biceps for better flexibility

    • @azn182
      @azn182 Před 7 lety +8

      Rotten Tomato Big biceps are not the issue for not being able to clean grip front squat. You have no flexibility, that simple.

    • @rottentomato7610
      @rottentomato7610 Před 7 lety

      Chris p well sure it's also down to good shoulder flexibility and not overly large shoulders

    • @tenyriakteny3803
      @tenyriakteny3803 Před 7 lety +12

      Actually, larger shoulders are preferred as to have it helps create a big 'shelf' for the bar to rest. You need to be able to rotate the shoulder joint quiet considerably and the wrist needs to be able to bend up to 90 degrees to enable a full grip. Another thing is to have pretty free moving lats and teres minor as they are what pull the shoulder and arm down, preventing most people from achieving the full grip.
      My two cents!!
