American Family ENJOYS Turtle Island, Boracay, Philippines!

- We had a great day on the Boracay island hopping tour with lunch. We visited Ilig Iligan Beach, snorkeled at Turtle Island, drove by Crocodile Island, cliff jumped at Aron Magic Island, had a fantastic lunch, and then saw the coves of Crystal Cove Magic Island. We were going to stop and snorkel at Crocodile Island, but it started to rain, so we decided we better head home. It was good that we did because the thunder and lightning storm hit with a vengeance. It started to rain, so hard that you could hardly see. We were entirely soaked through.
That morning, we were happy to hear that the storms had passed enough for us to do the island hopping tour. After signing in at the docks, we were off on our Banca (Bangka) boat and headed to Ilig Iligan Beach. We swam for a bit and then decided to head to snorkel at Turtle Beach. The snorkeling was nice and we got some good footage with our GoPro 10s. There was a pretty strong current, so we made sure that JoeJoe and Grace were hanging on to the rope. We saw some cool fish, coral, starfish, and some beautiful sea anemones. it was a great first part of our tour. Stay tuned for part two where we cliff-jumped at Aron Magic Island. Even JoeJoe jumped!

The beauty of the Philippines.....after a deluge of rain and lightning, you stay at home to be warm and toasty with homecooked meal and delicious hot soup.
