    Announcers annoy me when they say they wouldn't do something a certain way as the player runs out the table. Proves why you're announcing and not competing at the table

    I felt bad for Rolon. Reminds me of myself. I lost so many games because of my own errors, not because my opponent beat me. I beat myself

    When younger I played a lot of last pocket 8-ball, even bank last pocket, all rails, kisses ect had to be called

      Love last pocket! It’s been a while for me, but it was really good position play practice.

    So if they make a ball on break,m say a solid , they can still choose stripes?

      Yes

    • @johndenver752
      @johndenver752 Před rokem

      yes, potting a spot (for the sake of the example) on the break just makes the table open for the one who broke, it does not obligate him to play spots. if he prefers to play the stripes all he has to do is nominate and pot the stripe they want to pot and if he sinks it he then has to play the stripes...

    Rolon might have the worst fundamentals I've ever seen in a serious match. If your setup isn't rock-solid, you're going to miss some easy shots.

      @@xxdddddd87 yeah, but if he intended to do a draw shot, presumably, then why did he raise the cue stick during the shot? You don't raise the cue stick in a draw shot

    Zielinski letting Rolon know he was about to foul after the break was as classy as you can get. I have a lot of respect for Zielinski after seeing that.

      @phenomena17 Před rokem

      Please, what foul was he referring to ? I'm kind of lost here. A reply would be appreciated, thanks. 11:25

    • @gavin7912
      @gavin7912 Před rokem +1

      @@phenomena17 They're playing the 8-ball rule where if you pocket the cue ball on the break, the cue ball needs to be placed behind the headstring and the opponent must shoot a ball in front of the headstring. Rolon got confused and was going to play ball-in-hand, but Zielinski let him know he was playing it wrong so that he didn't foul. Zielinski could've just let him shoot and taken ball-in-hand.

    20:58 - He probably will never make Mosconi Cup team. Do not forget it is organized by matchroom and he is from the country of Poland which is highly disrespected by English. In 2013 Mateusz Sniegocki won gold and two bronze medals on European Championships and was the best player in Europe without the doubt - they did not even consider him. This shows very well their aproach to Polish players and all people in general from so called eastern Europe. Look what they did with Fedor Gorst this year. And on top of that they made Karl Boyes brainwash us with some idiotic explanation. Just bullshit. Matchroom is not about sport, but money and friends.

    • @shortydancer
      @shortydancer Před rokem

      I doubt so much of this. Matchroom has done a great job.

    • @johndenver752
      @johndenver752 Před rokem

      I completely agree with yu. Matchroom Pool is a biased organization tht makes decisions based on projected ratings then based purely on merit. What they did to Fedor Gorst this year is a blatant example of that, that Emily Frazer was afraid to be dragged into the scandal of allowing a russian player into the mosconi, and thus they pressured Alex Lely into choosing a much inferior in terms of current shape and results. And then making Karl Boyes (he ost all my respect for it) come up and give a excuse just for the sake of putting out an explanation. Its sad to see that prejudice and the feeling of superiority governs the sport of pool...
