Yeah, dancing to a rave in a church, next to a micro black hole and crabman climbing above you in the shadows, dancing so hard that the city itself starts speaking to you. Hardcoe to the mega!
One of the coolest scenes in the game. There is a hidden reaction speed check when talking to Shivers and it is revealed in 22 years Revachol will be destroyed by an atom bomb.
La Revacholiere is played by Linah Rocio, a Chilean singer-songwriter. Such a beautiful voice. Her and Neha, the Dicemaker are my favourite voices in the game.
@@scourge758 If you fail the Authority check, you call Kim a slur and he reasonably hates you for the rest of the day. Then if you fail the Shivers, you don't contact the city but instead have a seizure.
Разговор с городом в DE - это наверное лучшее, что случалось со мной в компьютерных играх. Нечто подобной же крутизны было разве что на играх живого действия. Это просто невероятный огонь.
This was my favorite scene in any media, ever. If you watched this without experiencing it yourself I truly feel pity for you. In a way this video disappointed me because it can never replicate what I experienced first hand. Even if I play it again exactly the same way it couldn't. Masterpiece.
I checked this out, because in my playthrough I only managed to get white checks for Sonne done after getting shot and I didn‘t manage to dance because of the injury. I don‘t have the time to get absorbed by this game for another 30 hour playthrough - I could barely put it down, beat it in two weeks. When la Revacholière started speaking in this video, I forgot to breathe. Her words made me teary-eyed. What a game, holy shit.
@@chan1xsame. Kim even mentioned it too. He was flabbergasted and mentioned my recent injuries from the shootout. He could not believe I was getting my mojo on after that.
I remember when I first got to this part of the game I had a 1 in Savior Faire, and did the check fully expecting to fail; at least getting to see Harry try and fail horribly and dancing. Only to instead role a twelve leading to probably one of the most down right religious experiences in my life.
I didn't havethe skills or even an idea this was an option, so I did a second playthrough after learning about this. I had to do this. INTERNALLY COHERENT!
If there's ever a second game, all I want is more animations. I mean, that girl is still on the floor after moving from the outside of the tent to the church.
revisiting this randomly and just saying i love how as you start dancing, the first savoir faire text is read out loud just in time for the song to kick in as it ends

Skibadee skibadanger, I am the rearranger!
Imagine dancing so hard you just fucking ascend
If you haven’t yet then you haven’t lived bratan, go for it!
I love the fact you dressed in full police regalia.
The Authority check to get Kim dancing is the most important check in the game

Still cant believe i managed to pass a 3% check to get this on my first playthrough.
It was your destiny
The only check you have to pass. You can reload, it's ok.
It's a detail but the same scene with the plastic bag equiped adds a little something...

This scene was so awesome the first time i played the game, so Hard Core even the spirit of the city talks to you in a sexy french accent!
