ive done 20 or so bonding's which includes pairs, trio's and quads and you are right every bonding is unique and it depends on the rabbits that you are bonding. Ive always started with putting them together in a small area and stay up with them for as long as it takes to either work or fail. The exception is when ive bonded my continentals and french lop. Ive started with side my side living. That is mainly because they can cause serious damage if fighting starts. My hand was bitten down to the bone from a conti girl lol... I wear snow ski gloves to prevent fights. You are doing amazing. You do what works for you.
Thank you for the kind advice! Definitely going to be wearing gloves/oven mitts when I do the bonding in the neutral area đ I think getting to know their personalities helps me so Iâm not going in blind when I put them together in the neutral space.

To add onto the names list, I quite like Altair because it means âsoarâ and âbirdâ as a ode to Crow but also is the 11th brightest star in the galaxy. Or Sol which means sun as a balance for Luna. I really like Brannock (mainly because it originated from where I live) which means crow or raven. Along those same lines are Corvo or Korbin. But overall space vibes I like Atlas, Apollo, Cosmo, Orbit or Orion.
i was thinking Jupiter would be cute to go with luna! and i think the name fits with him having some much binkies haha

Good luck with the bonding. I'm currently stalled with trying to bond my two. They've been side by side for a couple months now but the two times I've tried bonding they fought right away and wouldn't stop fighting ( I would stop it but as soon as I moved my hands they'd start up again). I'm scared to try again but at the same time I want them free roaming so I'm getting frustrated at them having to be in pens :(

Hi!! I have three Guinea pigs and my one Guinea pig chocolate absolutely destroys her water bottles. I have gone through so many water bottles and canât afford to keep buying them. Do you have any advice? Or like a good water bottle brand I can buy or something. Help please Iâm desperate lol
I use the kaytee glass water bottles and donât have issues! You could also try drip ones that are made for chickens etc

I'm doing this for Luna, rabbits are social creatures and thrive with same species companionship. If anything she will likely feel territorial over her space, I don't think she would ever have a feeling of "replacement" - I think that's a little too humanized.

Yes, I thought he looked like Zero as well. It's not a good idea for bunnies or other small animals to have play dates. Their ideas of territory are a lot different than ours.
