The kitchen is truly immaculate and the sea creature room blends audacious modern in a n historical setting brilliantly. Well done to them for creating something special. I hope one day they share it with the public.
@@tanyawalsh1238 if it were immaculate they would be able to open the fridge door and have the lights positioned properly . The woman couldn’t do interior design if her life depended upon it . Tasteless, pretentious crap .
Oh, my heart goes out to Matt and Michelle. They're such beginners - you really have to give them credit for their courage. They need to do a bit more research on-line before they start a job, so they at least know the right tools to use. Their house is going to be beautiful. I hope Michelle gets her window seat covered in William Morris fabric. It will be perfect there.
I think Matt should have used glue/adhesive when installing the plasterboard on the ceiling- the screws are to secure it until the glue goes off … at least that’s how we do things in Oz.
OMG. Ear protection. I know I'm talking to someone in the past -- completely futile -- but put some ear protection on!!!!!! Not to mention they need some masks sweeping up all that dust and some good work clothes. Please be careful Matt and Michelle!!
Look I know it shouldn't matter but I am SO SICK of people putting Art Deco in period houses when it doesn't belong. This is Tudor/Jacobean Revival/Arts and Crafts! Totally different aesthetic(s) and approach. Then again there's also a pink bath so whatever. I still love the house but I'm not confident the decor will be sympathetic to the period...
The sea creature room is truly awful
Seems more appropriate for a child’s bedroom.
I'm apalled at the taste level and design decisions. First the absolutely dysfunctional kitchen and now this monstruosity.
Absolutely. What a beautiful house and what tasteless vulgar people.

Anoushka says, "We have to honor the history of the house." She honors it by putting that ghastly sea-creature wallpaper in the dining room?
The dining room is stunning! Love it. Matt and Michelle and their family are such hard workers, 👏👏
I love the sea creature room. In fairness the couple must be quite wealthy but their designs are unique and magnificent. Cheers to both of them.

I love that under the sea room ... if they did a similar thing with Star Wars or Harry Potter and Diagon alley Id want it.
Now there's something fishy about Bonkers Hall.

Anoushka is a pain. Has she used the kitchen yet?
