I'm a union carpenter in chicago Illinois
I work for a company called E&K
I go back and forth from commercial union work to non union commercial work in AustinTexas.
My home is in chicago but when I need a break from the union I leave to Austin Texas.... definitely the stress is on a lower level... I just chill.
Thinking about my poor tool bags covered with years of shit. Man I got to give them some love

Here in chicago I am black balled from working for Anning and Johnson because I quit on them on a job downtown in a high rise
16 years ago and to this day they still reject my application 😔

Can you link the products used? The cleaning product and oil can be used on any leather bags correct?
Also why werent you using the brush on the gold when using the cleaning solution? Specifically I have the all leather older occidental bags.... I assume the products you were using are for any set of leather bags...

Yes they will work on all leathers.
With the gold painted leather I didn't want to flake the paint off with the brush.
A soft brush would be ok I'm sure. You can use a stiffer brush on the regular leather if you wanted to

@@NomadicINK rite on. im from Olympia. im exactly where you were a few years back. i own my own small roofing company and it pays the bills. but it is a little stressful and definingly extra work with all the paper work and books. i am a journey man in the carpenters union. i guess my question really is, what made u put your business aside and go back union. cause i go back and forth all the time with what to do.
