They are the first current band I've listened to in years, because the first time I heard them I thought it was from 1966-67, as what they do fits right in that time frame, which was one of my favorite periods in music. I hear the Byrds, Doors, Animals, a little Beatles, 13th Floor Elevators and Chocolate Watch Band among others all in what they do.
