I'm a glutton for punishing difficulty in solos, but getting others to buy into that for a co-op is much harder; glad the game offers more agency from the character selection and a broader range of difficulties. More incentive to pick up this version :)

First I was intrigued by your review of Hameln Cave. Then I was separately intrigued by Sail, based solely on "2P co-op trick taking with Santiago art." Now I find out it's the same game! Double-Intrigue! Congratulations on your accomplishments with this one, it looks great.
Another great video Taylor! I am sad to see the skeletons go, but the Kraken is a good match. I'm not sure why they felt the need for the added board to keep track of the tricks, but I guess it keeps the cards in order? Congrats on developing the game! I've always found developing more fun than designing. I like that the boards are customizable now for some added variety and the new tiles seem like a lot of fun! There is a bit of a learning curve to the game. After a while, we were able to beat the third map. While I enjoy the difficulty of the game, I acknowledge that it's not for everyone. The nerfing you all did here is pretty significant, which will really help out new players. I'm really excited about the Kickstarter!
I totally get that, especially since saying the phrase 'ghost pirate' was always a blast during the Hameln Cave teach hahaa! I think the change was to make the new tiles more thematic and to explain the sailboat movement, as a cave probably didn't have too much wind, ha! And thanks so much for the kind words on the development!!! I agree with you; I love tweaking and improving thinga so much that developing games has always been a hoot! Thanks so much for helping spread the word on this and other amazing Japanese games!!!

Cool! I found only one error. The Kraken deck should be face up in the setup. We can always look at it, just like at the discard pile.
