  • Sarah Boink, a sixth generation Schenectadian, is a fiber artist whose work explores her connection to place, childhood memories, relationships, and healing. Boink uses self-created natural dyes including indigo, cochineal, madder root, turmeric, and logwood, as well as handspun yarns in her tapestries, often incorporating found objects and materials from her local community. She studied painting at Massachusetts College of Art in Boston and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Purchase College, State University of New York.
