Warning to anyone getting into the 1/16 Traxxas lineup. Their differentials are absolutely junk. I own 4 brushless e revos total investment around $3,000 usd worth of trucks and mods. You have to get a good factory diff and mesh it or get a hot racing diff. Once it’s dialed in they are a blast.

First thing I did on my mini was replace all the a arms with RPMs and steel core driveshafts from integy. I broke all those orginal parts after about a month and man can it take a beating now. Paired with a 3s and high speed gearing (and I mean not the recommended gearing lol) and a new set of street tires, my little green machine is doing 65+ without any issues
Yeah no lol. I tried 3s with those duratrax on a baseball field, and I couldnt even keep in on the ground, much less get the power there lol. But for speed runs, it's a pretty close tie between series nickel and a 30c 3s. The dual nickels do add A LOT on weight and and that transfers to the the wheels because it can actually stay on the ground when you goose it. I prefer the 3s weight though, nothing like gritting your teeth hoping it doesn't grow wings past half throttle 😁
I'm getting all aluminum drive shafts arms and rocker arms on mine then I'm gonna put a stainless steel skid plate set on it with dual steering gonna put a more powerful motor in it to gonna modify it's frame to fit the e Revo 2.0s motor in it if needed

The power and the speed are not proportional to the size and the weight of the model.
That’s true….it’s way too fast for it’s size and weight….makes it almost uncontrollable
