    Thank you for this info! I am adding these liners to my bras that are too see-thru...also don't mind the extra boost!

    Which one is best for a larger sized bust?

    found your video by chance. I do alterations on prom and bridal. I try and go for as structured a bodice/corset as I can but sometimes need to put in a bra cup. Your video was very helpful. Do you do any instruction for seamstresses like me who are already in the industry but want to expand their skills? (so many DD+ cup brides this year with fit and flare strapless-what a challenge!)

      Same here! I’m working on a class to address that (no pun intended lol) I’ll be offering tips and techniques to assist dressmakers with internal construction for gowns to support larger bust, it’s actually more than just cups, I’ll keep you posted!

    I have a question,, Do you make your own bra foam cups or when is it best to create your own cups? Is bra foam only used when constructing a corset, or bra?

    • @dressfest
      @dressfest Před rokem

      You can use pre made cups bought in a store, however they are limited in size after a certain cup size;if very small or very large it’s advisable you make sure own. Foam; it’s usually the main material used in dressmaking. Silicone or other materials maybe to heavy for lightweight special occasions fabrics.

    Where do you get these cups. I need the push up inserts for my plunge backless wessing dress. I did buy a bra with a push up inside. Can the seamstress cup up my bra and add it to the dress? If not can you recommend where i can buy the push up inserts in the uk

      Hi I’m in the United States so I’m not familiar with, UK shops. I’d recommend going to a seamstress with your dress, they should be able to tell you the best options for enhancement and support.

    Thanks for the helpful video! Have you had clients say that bra cups provide support for larger busted girls (d+ cup)? I’ve never used bra cups and am skeptical 😅

    • @laidieclothu1494
      @laidieclothu1494  Před 10 měsíci

      So bra cups in my experience after DD, they don't really get any bigger (even if they advertise that they are bigger, when they arrive I often find that they are no bigger then a DD) or offer much more support. In that case for my custom dresses I build in a corselette for support. If you are shopping for something similar I'd say try bustier's, especially if you are going strapless. They have under wire and boning in the waist area.
      Here's a link to the style I recommend.

    • @laidieclothu1494
      @laidieclothu1494  Před 3 lety

      Hey, Yes! you should always refer to the size of the pattern/ dress as to what size to put in
