    I wonder why people keep doing things difficult when you can find straight and easy ways to pop up your images! Thank you.

    Affinity really excels at making automated tasks and batch work easy. Love it for astro and focus stacks.

    Amazing how one program, Affinity, can handle RAW processing, pixel editing, and Astro all in one.

    Thanks - that's great! I have been wondering how to get the best out of my DSLR data and this is the perfect road map to follow. I have just got data on M16 and M17 and am itching to get the computer fired up to try this technique. Thank you ❤❤

      Hi
      I have followed your instructions on my images of M16 and M17 - and I am delighted with the result! I wonder if your astro macros can be used to give an even better result? I am currently stacking data for C100 Running Chicken nebula (with data for C77 - Centaurus A galaxy yet to stack). So my question is: what's the best way to process these for a eye-catching outcome?
      Thanks for your help.

    This is amazing and very well explained. I would like to try what you presented. But I do not understand where to get 4 sets of datafiles from. Is this from a camera or from a telescope? In case its from a camera - did you utilize another CZcams guide … could you provide a link please?

      @JoernR Před 3 měsíci +1

      It's from the camera attached to the telescope - and separated from it. ;)
      Light frames are the regular pictures, the other types are for calibration purposes.
      Just google light frames, dark frames, bias frames, flat frames.

    Thanks for this! What I am struggling with these days is how to add Ha data to the stacked one color shot. Any hints on this?

    When I stack my M31 data in Affinity Photo from my Sharpstar 61EDPH II, 0.8X reducer/flattener, ZWO UV/IR-Cut filter, ASI585MC Pro, 180 sec X 60, gain = 252, it is very green. Any ideas what I am doing wrong or how to fix this? Be gentle, I'm a newbie. Thank you in advance.

      @moosoneerocketry9826 Před 29 dny

      Okay, I will answer my own question. I missed the step where you chose master flat for the flat file white balance. This reduced the intense green.

    Video eine Katastrophe .... da nicht in Deutscher Sprache. Warum gibt es nicht mal einen Untertitel in mehreren Sprachen wählbar. Man zahlt Geld für Programme die man aber nicht einsetzen kann, da es keine Videos der jeweiligen Sprache zu Erklärung gibt. Hier geht es nicht un WhatsApp & Co. sondern um viele Euros und die sind einsetzbar da man es nicht versteht was gezeigt und in englisch erklärt wird.
    Traurig und mehr schade - dann sollte man das Geld komplett zurückzahlen. Bei mir über 400 EUR!
