- In 2021, the tuna grounds known collectively as "South of the Vineyard" filled up with school bluefin tuna for the first time in five years, providing fun light-tackle fishing for much of the summer.
In this episode, Chris Megan and Jimmy Fee head 60 miles south of Cape Cod looking to catch tuna with a tactic called vertical jigging. While the action is fast and furious, the target species proves elusive.

Another great episode... Jimmy's face dropping when he realized that first BFT was not an Albie was great. The mugging for the camera stopped real quick!

What are the rods and reels you used?
Shimano Trevala Butterfly Jigging rods and Shimano Torium 16’s reels with multicolor braid probably 50-65lb.
@@brendanwoerner3352 Are those the regular 16HGA's or a different version more suited for jigging BFT?

Is it two fish allowed in that smaller size per guy or per boat?
Hi Ben, the legal limit is 2 of the small-sized tuna per boat. Thanks for watching!
