This video made me emotional, I grew up in Norway in a town called Trondheim. Made the best memories untill the age of 10 which then we moved to the uk. All my memories consisted of skiing to school, snowboarding in my break/lunches also ice scaring on the river outside where we lived. Made the best memories. The best food the best school. Enjoy every moment. I’m definitely a winter girl aswell. ❤
As a Norwegian its fun to see people in Norway for the first time😊 everything we thinks is normal you have never seen before😂🥰 we drink tap water in Norway that’s why water is expensive, we don’t bye it from the store😊 the “orange juice” you bought is actually orange soda☺️

Most people drink tap water in the country they live in, people will always find buying water expensive. I filter my water in Australia as I am allergic to the tap water
Hi, I hope you are enjoying your time in Norway. You actually don´t have to buy water in Norway, you can just use that big bottle you bought and fill water from the tap at a camp place or gas station for the rest of the trip, the tap water is usually better than those bottles of water in Norway. And those "bread rolls" you bought are actually for hot dogs! Also, Spar is one of the most expensive grocery stores in Norway! Safe travels!

As you said we are really lucky to have seasons. Thats something i love about Norway. Cold snowy winters and warm sunny summers. Between -25°C and 25°C usualy.

I'm in southern Alberta Canada and we have slurpees all year round. Our winter temps can get to -40+ with wind chill....
My favourite is autumn, in the norwegian mountains 😍🤩
Use the large 5L jug for water - You don't buy water in Norway - you fill up at a petrol station or from another tap. All water in Norway is actually cleaner than the water you buy.
Summer all the way but I love Christmas in winter.

It's called cross-country skiing. I live in Coloradoun the US and we have tons of snow and ive done cross-country skiing many times. ITS Skiing. One your going down hill the other your crossing the ground. Besides who cares? It doesn't matter. Be kind

You need to put some thick cream on Mila’s cheeks to protect her skin. Sometimes still needs SPF in the sunshine even if it’s cold.

Just meant as info: Spar foodstore = one of the most expensive foodstores in Norway (Rema 1000 an Kiwi are cheaper and has low price options)

yes i’m a winter person. living in Queensland,Australia summer is so hot. I’m always travelling in winter when we visit other countries 😅. Im taking the kids to Japan for Christmas this year. The children are having the best time.

I have a lot of illnesses daily and I really struggle in the heat I get all sweaty and overheat really easy so I prefer winter by far you can allways snuggle under a blanket or put another layer on in the cold you get to the point in the heat you can’t take anymore layers off
I'm a summer person, I hate being cold in the snow, it's nice to look at or play in tho.
Price of milk is similar where I am in Canada and the temp gets lower here at times in winter
I love to look in supermarkets in other countries and compare them to the UK and it is really interesting to know about the prices and see how the cost of living is impacting other countries too so thanks for sharing and please continue! That was a really expensive shop though 😮
Also, Scandinavia was voted one of the happiest places on earth to live in so maybe that’s why you love it so much there☺️

I’m a summer person. I HATE the cold and I Despise the rain. Snow is ok in short bursts sometimes though. My mum also feels the same and she also hates snow due to the black ice.

Hey Sarah, In Canada just yesterday into today we had -25 degree celius with the wind chill it was -40 where I live. Thank god it will warm up just a bit tonight going into tommrow. Loving the trip your family is on right now. It always makes me so happy to see where your family will travel to next as I am someone that just can't travel for financial reasons. it lets me live through your camera for the views of everything away in other countries for a little while. It was a spar shop so they are a lot more expensive in England to ours is about three times the price of supermarket

I’m a Winter’s Child I was born in mid March so still Winter and now that I live in Michigan I get a true Winter season. Feels balmy today we are in the mid 30s Fahrenheit yesterday we had a high of 14F it’s crazy tomorrow February 5th we are supposed to get to 39F our Winter temperatures have been crazy this year! In Alaska they have ice skate areas behind their personal homes on lakes. They will use rivers as their road ways for skiing and riding machines. It is a cool idea, but not me.

I hope you have good winter tires on, regular all season tires do not grip the road if the temperatures drops below +4 degrees, I know you said you have chains but they don’t help on icy roads! I live in Canada and winter tires are a requirement here from oct over to match! So I assume Scandinavia has similar rules! I would hate for you guys to get in an accident as your van insurance wouldn’t cover it! Our lakes are also frozen and people take there trucks and cars on the ice to go ice fishing
I'm definitely a winter gal. It's currently summer here in NZ and I'm lying on my bed in pain with sunburn. I would much rather the cold for sure.

I have that too but it'll attack any joint in my body. I take SIFROL.. prescribed by my GP.. about an hour before bed.. I'd be lost without it.. I hope this helps.. love to you all xxx

I prefer the winter, weve been having a heatwave where I live in NZ the last few days, like walking outside into a sauna and we have a few more days of it. It was 34.6°c yesterday.

That would be my dream too, I'm a winter baby, born on boxing day! I much prefer winter and snow is my favourite, I can not deal with the summer, I can't handle the heat at all, my body or me doesn't like it. I looks so stunning there!

guys as sarah said please do not walk on "frozen water" in the uk as 6 little children walked on "frozen water" aned 4 of them died and 2 have not benn found and thhis was in birmingham.

Your van looks so so tiny at the very beginning of the vlog, I'm confused. It was only a little bigger (length wise) than the car beside it.

Guess it is to late now but you should get cold cream when you are out below -10 put ot onyour face to proteckt skin and then the cold does not bite that much pluss you proteckt your skin from damaging in the cold
It looks like Mila really slows you down, I know in the city you can put her in a stroller if you want to. Do they make a backpack type apparatus to carry somebody her age in? you used to carry Jace and Mila in one of those. I don’t know what they’re called but I’m sure you know what I mean, she would probably be pretty heavy in the back though but yeah she does slow you down and I’m sure you guys don’t mind I’m inpatient and I would mind. Lovin’ your videos though.
Aww Chris you are such a sweetie. Have you seen a doctor about your jumpy legs. You were very brave reversing down that icy road. Hope you don't get snowed in but you are right about the uk. One of my husbands carers told us that it has to be -28 where she comes from (Russia I think] before the schools shut. We get 2 in and the country grinds to a halt. Stay safe god bless nite guys xxxx

Sarah…you may want to keep Vaseline on Jace and mila’s faces and lips to protect from the cold. Also, chris will need to be careful with the drone as the parts may freeze while going up into the air….
Norway in all it's glorious magnifice, how wonderful to be there, what a marvellous adventure. Memories that will stay in your heart for ever. My granddaughter has recently come back from Norway, she went from Dubai to Spain, Budapest, Prague then Norway. Thank you for sharing your journeys with us.😺
