leaving your comfort zone is the only way to remain artistically alive. LOVE THIS. WELL FUCKING DONE!
mattia mari cfhuhgnhgv. V by
This is so fucking good, I swear they're the most consistent working band in rock today.
Just heard this on the radio, so glad I found it and it's a new favorite band of mine. There needs to be more music like this out there, like Royal blood as well.
ANOTHER ROYAL BLOOD FAN LETS GOOOOOOOO
Maybe it is NFS Payback being where I heard this song, but it really has a feeling of casual precision. Knowing what to do and doing it quickly and efficiently. Perfect for a racing game. I swear, this one is probably my favorite to hear when I drift around a bend and nitrous to keep myself moving.
Ginger Elvis is in the building
Kevin Taylor accurate
Our lord and savior Ginger Elvis ❤️
But Mark Ronson is there too, it would seem.
It's happening! Can't wait for the full album.
We love them so much we could cry. The artwork is amazing as are the songs and the videos that will follow will be phenomenal. There is no doubt that they are one of the most talented bands of our time. Our grandchildren will look back in awe of QOTSA in much the same way that we do today.
first time I heard this song it didn't quite convinced me... NOW I LOVE THIS SONG!!! has an amazing capability to grow and develop if you keep listening
Between this and the snippet of Feet Don't fail me now, This album sounds like its gonna be a non-stop dance party
He sure loves to dance..
This is like a modernised rockabilly with a pop feel. I like it.
or a trendy bandwagon jumpin Black Keys ripoff haha I'll agree with you on the pop thing though. Sorry, not for me. I like heavy rock music, like what Kyuss and the first 2 Queens albums were like
This sounds nothing like the Black Keys lol moron
Had to be chad.
Wild Cat more like Swing.
What fucking pop feel?
This song KILLS- like all QOTSA. Josh is one of the few "rock stars" that you really feel is like a brother or just a guy you went to high school with... He's the real deal. Genuine.
the funny thing is, i read all the comments saying "I'm not sure guys.." etc. I remember when the singles for Like Clockwork came out, I wasn't that impressed at first. I was used to Songs for the Deaf and Era and Lullabies. Now I fucking LOVE like clockwork. That's the beauty of queens.. every album is a grower. Every single one. Give it a year of having the album out and you'll all look back on this and laugh at your lack of faith. It's Queens of the Stone Age. They won't ever disappoint.
Fullmetal - Norik like clockwork is their best album imo, every track is amazing
This is the truth. After you play this song about 5 times and hear all its little hidden gems you wont be able to stop. That's why I love this band to death.
1) I still don't like Clockwork 2) Even Led Zeppelin and Sabbath disappointed, so I wouldn't be so sure for QOTSA, even if I used to love what they did. Unfortunately.
Got to admit, I didn't know what to think when I saw that Mark Ronson produced this album. First listen through this single was nothing special. Now it keeps getting better. Hints of Them Crooked Vultures, EODM in the mix, and definite echoes of Era Vulgaris' riffed-out weirdness. This is gonna be good. I've never seen a band be able to change their sound so much album to album yet still be unmistakable. Can't wait for this one to drop.
Part of it is the changing cast of the band. Josh Homme is the one constant, and everyone else that cycles through the band brings their own sound.
I love that Josh changes his style so much working with different people yet he still keeps his hooks and tones.
I can still remember when the single was first released!!!! Love how it's all so diverse!!
This is one of the best songs for payback, I'm surprised this song isn't featured in more movies. I can't imagine doing a loud and dumb heist in Payday without this.
It is so amazing how every album has such a distinct sound, yet feels exactly like QOTSA!!! I'm so excited for this album!!!
Guys chill, it's only the first song. No matter what you think about this song I think we can all agree that the 30 second play of "feet don't fail me" was absolutely amazing. It's gonna be a great album
Need For Speed Payback Memories🔥🔥
yeaaa
My favorite game
@@tylerfinnce3492 Last NFS I played was Underground on the original Xbox. It was decent but it had such a problem with pop-in vehicle spawns. Kinda turned me off to NFS, all racing games kind of have a roblem with spawns ad artificial difficulty. Look at Mario Kart's absolutely broken rubber banding for starters.
ye
I play Yet Haha good times
i've been a QOTSA fan since Rated R, always come back to them even though my tastes have changed a lot, and the times have changed with them it seems. This is an absolute jam.
My new feel good hit for the summer
Feel Good The Way You Used To Do
I never get tired of the evolution and creativity of this guy. Long live, Josh Homme.
R.I.P. Chris Cornell.
Cornell was a real singer
and Josh Homme is a real musician what are you saying?
Chris Cornell is my favorite singer.
Lance McCormick this ain't pop
I'm waiting for the entire album to make my conclusions.
Came from NFS Payback, stayed for Queens of the Stone Age
Same
Ohh boys...you haven't played U2 then ;)
same here!!!
Best part of the game
@@Sapizanza yep
this songs riff scratches all the crevasses of my brain
i need friends who listen to qotsa, i have no one to share excitement with
Neil R im with you my friend :)
Neil R agreed haha now that I think about that...I don't have many friends hahaha but whatever QOTSA is one of the best bands that I like
My listening party on Friday Aug 25 will be a party of one. In my basement. Still great.
I bought their first one from my brother for $5. I would describe it in one word: Timeless. My personal favorite QOTSA album, with SFTD and EV close behind. Somehow I ended up with seven Queens discs ! Ive been on a heavy Melvins and Neurosis kick lately, but i spin the Queens discs from time to time. This is not bad, im not complaining.
Neil R TOTALLY agree wth you.seen them twice n josh fucken rules.i dont know anybody that listens to them.so at one of the concert i went to i was shocked to see all the fans of qotsa.like wtf where do ya live can we be friends.i bn a fan since 2002 and i got my two son hooked on this band.so i share my excitement wth them..😎
Loved QOTSA since 2002 - and I love this. It makes me want to dance, or run, or just move - good music does that. It's different from other QOTSA tunes, but that's okay because evolution happens in bands that have been around as long as they are.
I am using my husbands account but the song rocks your socks off. First few bars and I was hooked!!!!
I like this pop side of qotsa just as much as I like the heavier side. all qotsa is good qotsa.
Brilliant riff,quality queens.
I love how distinct every new QotSA album sounds. This one's sounding fucking great!
Randomly found this on Spotify and I've already heard it 3 times! So grateful to have been one of the first to hear it! Can't wait for Villians!
A QotSA album has to be listened to the first time, start to finish to fully appreciate it. Every album tells a story, a theme if you will. The way they tie songs together makes all the difference. Just listening to the single without the surrounding songs doesn't give it the justice or meaning it is suppose to have.
Played Dublin last week. The best live band there is. I was blown away. Best concert I've seen. Awesome band. You guys rock with style.
i'm already in loooove with this song 😍
This song is about Brody Dalle.
“The
first time I met Josh I was seventeen and he was twenty-two. It was on
the Lollapalooza tour and I loved Kyuss, and I saw him and knew the band
had broke up so we just started talking about it and we took a picture
together. I was such a little fan. We didn’t see each other again for
seven years.”
😜
You just struck me dead. That's sweet
First time I heard this song I was leaving Chicago on the second-to-last day of a major road trip I took to celebrate getting my license.
Driving my grand mother’s 99 Corolla at 80mph the whole time.
I was playing with the radio and found a local rock station which seemed to play this song four months before my hometown station, 98 Rock Baltimore, caught on.
Here I am talking like it was a decade ago, but with the way things are these days, it feels like it was.
Can't wait until the album is released! Love Queens and the creative variety to their music!
Seriously, this band is seriously underrated.
Í can say that I loved most of this album, some song were pretty good and some were just meh. 7/10
Josh Homme's voice is the Devil singing like an angel. xoxoxo
The Devil was an angel though.
Vincent Lillis wouldnt he still be
I think about him more in the past tense, the past fictional tense.
LETS FUCKIN GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Where?
TO THE DANCEFLOOR
North! To Vabbi!
Swole is the goal, size is the prize?
Damn, Josh Homme is the True captain of this fuck-wagon.
Ugghhh. Like frickin jazz hands! The Charleston. Yum
the trick for an optimal listening is CRANKING THIS LOUD. once you get it going, it really sounds great. I am loving this now!!!
First Arcade, then you do it again! I've been waiting almost FOUR YEARS to see QOTSA back, you guys rock!
'A little bit of QOTSA in my life'...
A little bit of Villains by my side
Ulodan a little bit of Homme's all I need
JON THEODORE!!!!!
To me, this is the crowning achievement of this album. Best song? Agreed?
Lovin' this all the way from New Zealand
That was totally different. Wasn't expecting that at all. And it was FUCKING AWESOME. This is what Robo-Rockabilly sounds like . QOTSA fail to disappoint. This song will be, for the time being, constantly on repeat. Until the album is released . CAN'T FUCKING WAIT 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
The funny thing about QOTSA is I don't love them because they nail a particular sound or style I like. I love them because their albums are fanfuckingtastic, no matter how differently they may sound in relation to each other.
I have this feeling that the apocalypse will arrive to the hypnotic sound of Homme vocals over a gnarly guitar riff. Mark my words, you beautiful bastards!
I love this song, The best is perfect it's just unexplainable
Groovy! I can't wait to see them live in November. This is well anticipated and going to be huuuuuge.
Just finished my 3rd listen.
First listen: not too sure, wasn't too bad.
Second listen: hey, this is actually pretty good.
Third listen: HOLY FUCK I AM FEELING IT
KillMeKillMe exactly. 🖒🎸🎶😌🎶🎸
KillMeKillMe for me it was the other way round :/
Eva Bakker same
EXACT SAME. grew on me like a bad rash
I am still in the first listen,, yeah i aint too sure how to feel about this song. :/
woowww new QOTSA!!! ORGASMIC JOSH!!! love it, cheers from México
Queens Of The Stone Age....another awesome album. Well done !!!!
They have never made a bad album. I love it.
Homme (about new album): "This album is here to do bad guy stuff. The goal was for everyone go 'WTF' when they hear it. In a world of desperately going for ‘likes’ I think ‘Villains’ is more like ‘we’ll take the dislikes, we’ll take all the outcasts’"
way cool tune. josh is brave. he knows how fickle folks can be, and still goes there. props.
Nothing brought me there, I did it myself
Based
Legend.
The band nothing?
Love this track
I just love this song!!!!!
That riff is like a sweet Cadillac pulling up to a party
i'm thinking something more powerful yet dirty, like an old camaro or a dirty mustang, but yeah, cars where also the first thing in my mind after hearing it.
Andrés Monroy Vallejo Legit, that Beat to shit 70s Camaro. driven by the guy who everyone loves but nobody really knows.
Faustus Caligula 😂😂😂
hell maybe it's just the car from the No One Knows video
Oh I'm so happy to have more QOTS! Love it!!
Right on fantastic sounds great
It's so groovy - I can't even think about continue working on my bachelor thesis right now!
I've never heard of this band, I think I love them already
Oh if you love this, their other stuff will blow you away.
love you guys. best live show I've ever seen. so glad to hear some new stuff ♡♡♡ you guys are sickkk
The design of this album is amazing
I came here from this playing in my local indoor Karting place JD Racing
And NFS of course
This sounds so good in headphones!!
AS someone who doesnt really listen to QOTSA, this was very good. I enjoyed it alot.
love it, guitar, lyrics, its flows super good!
I love the songs groove and feel, my biggest issue is I feel the mixing made it a little too light, I felt like there needed to be more bite, which everything else I heard from the album has more of and I love it
I love this song for it's lack of bite, people say it's poppy but this song has got a tameness that I think fits it and makes it hold up better when relistening. The song also just feels more emotional when you get to the chorus and there's no deafening riff to take your attention away from Josh.
Forgot enter wasn't post
@@llodskfj5228 Woah comment 5 years later :O Honestly I quite liked the album over all
@@gingerelvis93 Villains is the only album i listen to in its entirety at least once or twice a week, its perfect
This song cured my scurvy.
TheDiscoNarwhal try vitamin C 😆😉
No need anymore!
Vitamin C...? I don't want to know what the C stands for. ok.
All of these comments are killin' me! This ones my fave
aw, you're too sweet.
Loving it. . .can't wait for the rest!
I cannot wait. This sounds amazing.
I love how Boneface slips his little cameos into his works like this
At first I did not like it, now I can not stop hearing this, i love you qotsa, i love you josh, you can do "DESPACITO" and i will still love you
😍Great vibe
On point!! I'm 100% it's gonna be a great album.
This song is crunchy AF. You know you like it.
Can't wait to see the live version to see who plays each of those neato guitar parts.
FREAKIN GENIUS!! Awesome tune
I enjoyed the song the first time I heard it, but re-listening to it now through headphones I find an even greater appreciation for it. It's got a nice retro feel I can't adequately describe but really like.
First listen I was unsure. A few more listens, this is so fucking good.
I can definitely hear Mark Ronson's influence in this. Honestly, I'm not mad at it. I hope there are more progressive songs on the album but this is a nice groovy single. These guys continue to be my favorite modern rawk band.
Great, great music by the Queens! Leaving the introspective doldrums of Like Clockwork in the dust....
This song rocks hard with an old-time Deep Purple vibe. I freaking love it.
porque mierda terminé sin ropa al final de la cancion?
Cristian Vidal jajajaja te entiendo
+Papatorrejano pack?
Just cause it’s catchy doesn’t mean it’s pop.
Anything that is catchy is pop, what you think qotsa's other songs are not catchy?
Pop - ular.
just to say how catchy is it, i watched porn with it and i had to find it, so i did, and here i am
Whats the problem with it being pop?
P.G. Souza never said pop was bad
I love this song man.
NFS brought me here I'm glad it did
QOTSA is back! Yes!
How many hours of having an erection are you supposed to wait before calling the doctor?? I'm asking for a friend...
if an erection lasts for more than 4 hours....call more ladies
Lasts more than 4 hours?! Call me!!
This song is so damn good
This song is awesome. From first listen to what must be the hundredth now. I don't get how so many of you could not see how fucking sweet this song is.
I cried
Album of the year confirmed!
too much hype.
wht not?
It's Queens of the Stone Age.
it's not qotsa since Oliveri was fired
Jorge CL Each era of QotSA has come with its own unique brilliance, which I think is what makes them the best rock band around rn. I loved everything that Nick brought to the band, but Josh would rather do away with wife beating alcoholics. I also think that Mikey Shoes is one of the most underrated musicians in the industry. To each his own :)
My 81 year old dad loves it !
Awesome sooooong! 🤘🚼🎸💓
My favourite song to off-road too
NFS Payback 🤙🏻🤩
New album and they're touring....can't wait to see them again!!!
I listen to this over and over and over and over....
