Not all the beats, he only co-arranges them and he sometimes makes them all by himself (like slump, another day, or most of the skz-records&players beats are solely by chan) we should always check who the main arranger is in the credits. if chan's name comes first we can say he made the beat (like red lights, haven, scars etc.)
"ppiripparappiri baem" is korean ! “baem” is “snake” in korean, and i think that part is trying to “charm" the listener using a very catchy line while also trying to incorporate the “snake charmer” concept. also, if you want to check out more rap from 8 members, i HIGHLY suggest “maze of memories” and “mixtape 4/broken compass.”
A piri (though 피리 rather than 삐리) is also a kind of Korean double-reed wind instrument; I wonder if that's relevant..? 🤔

Bang Chan make the beats most of the time! 3Racha (Bang Chan, Changbin, Han) produces almost all of their songs, from the lyrics, arrangements, and everything!
Chan co-arranges the beats. If his name comes first as an arranger or he's the only arranger credited then we can say he made a beat. You should always check the credits for that.
but they're vocal line can rap . it's a fact CHANGBIN /BANCHAN /HAN /HYUJIN /FELIX can rap rap . but LEE KNOW /SEUGMIN /I.N even if they're not rapper they can rap to and pretty good .they're all rounder because they're rapper can also be a great vocalist .

Correction Lee Know is also a rapper. Lee Know debuted as a rapper introduced as a Vocalist but switched into rapping position during their predebut days and he debuted as rapper (I know because I'm a predebut stay) soI don't know what you're talking about him not in the rap line he is a rapper unlike I.N and Seungmin who debuted as a Vocalist.
And it's a fact that the Rap Line includes Changbin, Han, Hyunjin, Felix, Chan and Lee Know since the start of their journey. Chan and Lee Know are the only members who has all the positions, rapper, vocalist and dancer. Fyi, Chan was even in Dance Line that includes Lee Know, Hyunjin, Felix and Chan that's the Dance Line, Danceracha are a unit not the the dance line if y'all want to argue with it.

you’re extremely right about the vocal line being able to rap 😭 stray kids are 8 all rounders tbh . also bang chan, changbin & han (aka 3racha) have a hand in producing all their beats so they also worked on this one ! mostly chan tho , he said he was producing it with the intentions for it to be the title track but maniac ended up being the title track instead
They make their own music and are known as 3racha consisting of bangchan Han and changbin and bangchan usually makes the beat...
And all of their chart hitting songs were made by themselves....And yes that is one of the biggest charm of theirs that made us STAY🥰

Bangchan is in charge of making the beats for the songs (he sometimes go live and tell stays abt the process of producing a song/beats), han and changbin also help him in the composing, Bangchan usually arranges the songs too and sometimes there's another person (not from the group) helps him in arranging too, and 3racha write 100% of all stray kids's songs (if not, then the other members are the ones who are writing it instead)
Glad that you're willing to check out their older stuff but you better be careful when choosing the very old songs to choose the ot8 version not the ot9 (yup in their early days they had a 9th member who left them, stays don't like to talk abt him tho), they have ot8 versions of their very early songs.

i loved your reactions of stray kids and charmer is my favorite song from Oddinary. 3Racha (the subunit from stray kids that produced all their songs - Bang Chan, Changbin and Han) has said that they wanted charmer to be the title track for this album but changed it when the idea of maniac started to appear. You should react to other stray kids songs, they have a lot of tracks to choose from. If you liked the rap you should check out domino and maze of memories. For me, god's menu and miroh catch my atention and side effects sealed the deal. OHHH and for live performances: you really need to see God's Du du du (mash-up of god's menu with dududu of blankipink's) and their MAMA performance 2019 and 2021.

I just had the longest week at work … finally finished and scored Stray Kids ticket for their Seoul tour…felt tired and keyed up and so happy to see two of my favorite things at once: Charmer and Anthony’s reactions!

You asked about Bang Chan. So, 3racha existed before Stray Kids and they were a rap group. They still perform rap songs as 3racha, which they create only for award shows etc (so we only have those live versions, nothing on Spotify TT) - so Bang Chan is a rapper, but he does mostly sing in Stray Kids songs.
If you want to hear all of them rapping, check out "the tortoise and the hare" and "maze of memories" (OT8 version).
I also recommend "slump" and "top" - soundracks for anime "tower of god". "top" has an MV, for "slump" I recommend "1 take" version (where they sing live).

3racha(bangchan,changbin,han) was a underground rap group before being the producers of stray kids.

YES!! We see STRAY KIDS, not vocal line or rap line theyre all rounders! Bang Chan and Lee Know started with rap but now have gone more into vocals and Seungmin and IN are not "rappers" but they are decent and can go pretty fast, Seungmin actly rivals Changbins speed in one show... What amazes me most is Bang Chan, mans made the beat AND arranges them, idk blows my mind thinkin abt how he comes up with these beats damn-
Favorite songs are Freeze (just hits hard) and Waiting for Us (had me crying for a full day). To be honest I love this whole album. My taste in music varies depending on the song or my mood. I think that is why I love Stray Kids so much as their discography varies just like my taste. It's just GOOD music all around.

Thank you again for your reaction. I think it would be interesting if you took a look at a Korean musical competition program called Kingdom. Last year, 2021, Stray Kids won. And it would emphasise your impression that the kids can rapp and sing regardless of whether they are vocals or rappers.
BangChan, Han and ChangBin they are also known as 3Racha (search for that, they have their own songs.
Fave on this album has to be Charmer. It's my ear worm; I'll go around bopping to this all day now. 😂

Haha funny you asked if any member sees it, Bang Chan actually watches reaction videos all the time. He shouts out some reaction channels every once in a while during his weekly livestreams. And I don’t think he would mind the swearing I mean, he grew up in Australia and Australians swear a lot and I think he said he swears a lot off camera so,,
You should definitely watch a guide to them! They don’t have official positions anymore, but the guys who mostly sing (chan, lee know, seungmin, and I.n) can all rap (chan and lee know usually rap in songs more than seungmin and I.n) and the rap line all sing beautifully too. (Usually it’s Han hitting some high notes in songs, and hyunjin sings in songs too. Felix and Changbin are usually rapping but they both have such pretty voices when they sing.)
I don’t know if a more recent guide has come out, but there’s this guide called “stray kids world domination documentary” which is pretty detailed. The only thing is that the text at the bottom goes extremely fast and you have to constantly be looking down to read it. There’s another guide called “stray kids guide 2021 updated”

Always hard for me to choose favorites because I use different music for different things. I'm most captivated by Muddy Water these days, I'd say next would be Venom and Charmer tied, for completely different moods. If you're doing more Stray Kids, I'll put in another vote for The Tortoise and the Hare, it'll get your energy going, it's wild but also turns your brain inside out. You might enjoy the compilation video, "8 Rappers, 8 Vocalists", the clips of the vocal line rapping are wow. (The vocal clips are hit and miss, Felix and Han both have better vocals).
3Racha (Chan, Changbin, Han) make a lot of the beats and toplines. Chan seems to come up with most of them, he's got dozens living on his laptop, some of them wait around for years to get used. They also work with lots of producers who contribute beats etc. They love collaboration and they love giving credit where it's due. They work a lot with a producer called Versachoi, he worked with them for Maniac and Charmer; for Muddy Water it was Millionboy, for Venom it was DallasK. I read in a comment somewhere that Chan came up with the deeper bassier beats for Venom and DallasK did that eerie ripply beat that it starts off with. Chan was originally rap line. 3Racha in addition to being the main production unit was originally a rap performance group, there are some live performances from before Stray Kids was formed and they released a mixtape at that time too.
Charmer is the best song on the album in my opinion. It is catchy and just so f'ing good in every aspect! Honestly, I can't wait to get a live version of this because I was sad it didn't have MV.
I know it is way past xmas but you should still check Christmas Evel. I still listen to it daily because it slaps 😂
At first this song was ok but after listening to it more, this project has NO MISSES! This beat is addictive! I love Changbin's part, he chooses me all the time! My favorite song is Muddy Water but I love Charmer, Venom, Maniac too.
